OMG !!! Blog Reader's Fiancee Calls The Cops on Him

‘’Hello Lady Laila Ijeoma, I sent this mail yesterday but you didnt post it so I am sending it again. Please share it today because I am in a dilemma. My Name is Greg. I have been following your blog for almost 2years now and I sometimes comment as Anonymous. I am 33 years old. An employed professional. In a relationship with a lady (who is in between jobs) and she is 31 years old. We are both from Anambra state. I met her over a year ago and gave her a ring early this year. She lives in Lagos while I stay in Abuja but she visits me. I also take care of her needs to the best of my capability. Recently, she visited my base and while she was seeing her friend that called on us off, her phone (which I bought for her) started ringing. The setting on her phone is such that the pictures of those on her Black Berry contact are synchronized with their phone numbers in her phonebook. So the picture of this particular caller had a guy (the caller) carrying my girl at a beach or something. I didn’t pick the call but the caller immediately sent her an sms-questioning where she is and why she didn’t pick his call. Out of curiosity-I started going through her text messages and my heart sank. The reason why she guards her phone with so much alertness dawned on me. At least she has about three other guys that she talks seriously with-relationship wise.

When she came back from seeing her friend off, I sought to know who the man was to her and the explanation for the picture (of him carrying her at a beach),she snatched her phone from me and started arguing with me…out of anger, I smashed the phone against the wall and mistakenly slapped her. the next thing my girl did shocked me…she started making calls and asking some friends to arrange for a police man for her. I thought it was a joke but a police man did show up at my door step and flashed his id card to me. It took my working my phone to get the police man off my back because a call from ‘up there’ also instructed him to abort his mission in my house. My girl and I never spoke for like three days. She didn’t beg. Although I was coming home to a clean house and cooked meals…something she had never done since I met her. She even washed my car at a point. We have always eaten out. She stays put in the bedroom and I sleep on the couch, sometimes pretending to be very busy with work but when I could not bear it anymore, I brought out transport fare and asked her to feel free to leave whenever she decides. She took the money but didn’t leave that same day. She left about two days later and has been bombarding me with phone calls (which I don’t pick) and text messages…begging for forgiveness. In one of the sms, she claim to have missed her period and was waiting to suprise me before we fought. This is a girl that I have met her people and almost took my people to her place for introduction-until her people told us to keep things on hold because they lost her uncle. I am just confused right now. I want the your blog readers opinion on this…is this relationship still worth it? Is this lady worth giving a chance to? What I find difficult to understand is that there is really nothing special about those guys she is relating with. I am a doctor. I even instructed her to have those men call me and assure me that they have nothing with her…she didn’t do that. She actually came to my house with a new sophisticated phone and told me that she wants to give out the one I bought for her. I didn’t complain, though I felt bad. Please post this. Thank you’’

Woman dies after accidentally eating poisoned soup she prepared for her husband

A frustrated housewife died after mistakenly eating the poisoned soup she prepared for her husband. Thw woman identified as Egwoli in Atumaga Community in Delta State had been trying to get her husband to sleep with her to no avail, she then approached a native doctor who gave her a poisonous charm which she laced her egusi (melon) with..The charm was to make her husband have a change of heart.

According to Leadership ,she complained that her husband has not been making love to her since they got married two years ago.The man had told some persons that he was involved in extra-marital affairs because of an odour that oozes from his wife.

On her return from the native doctor’s place on Friday evening, she immediately applied the charm but unfortunately the man was nowhere to be found. She was said to have mistakenly mixed the charm in her own soup not knowing it was poisonous. She ate it, went to bed and died.

Reacting, the husband said:
“My wife had threatened to make me impotent when I stopped making love to her for obvious reasons and I found some fetish items in her room, including the egusi soup she ate before her death.

Delta State Police spokesman, DSP Celestina Kalu, said the police was currently investigating the circumstances that led to the woman’s death, adding that reports indicated she was involved in fetish activities

I Just Lost The Man who Love Me Bcos I Slept with Many Men

I’m in deep shit over my relationship. I’m a 35-year-old woman and met a hardworking 43-year-old man. We’ve been dating for five months now and still haven’t slept together.

My problem is that in the beginning of our relationship, he asked me how many men I’ve slept with and worried about how he would react, I lied and told him I’d slept with seven men. But after a few months, I could not live with the lie and finally decided to tell him the reason why I still haven’t slept with him yet.

I told him I didn’t want to make love with him because I was scared that he’d lose respect and eventually leave me just like all the other men I have slept with in the past. At this point he asked me again, just how many men can you remember that you have slept with, to which I replied 43.

His reply was, “Hmm, one man for each of my birthday"...
And from that day on, I never heard from him again. I don’t get it, why is it that when men sleep around it is ok, yet when women sleep around, they’re sluts? Why can’t women have their fun too?
- Bubu from Abuja

Below is the response she got from Mrs Julie Coker:

Dear Bubu,
I’ve spoken with quite a number of women asking the same question. I don’t want to pass judgment on women, nor am I saying that women shouldn’t enjoy themselves s*xually. But men and women are never the same. You expressed fear about losing respect.

As soon as you start sharing that object with anyone and without care, the object starts to lose value. The more people use the object, the more it depreciates and the less bargaining power it has: this is a plain psychological fact of life.

Most women don’t realize the importance men place on a woman’s promiscuity. Women think that because men don’t care about how many women they’ve slept with, they won’t care about how many men their woman has slept with. But the reality is that most men, those looking for a serious relationship and not a one-night stand do place great value on a woman’s s*xual restraint.

There was a time when many women cherished their bodies much like a sacred temple where only a noble man, one who respected and loved her, had access to her body.

But over time, it seems that women have failed to realize the important role their s*xuality plays in finding a long-term mate. Unfortunately, because of the women’s movement, women are so busy trying to compete with men, including in the s*x department, that they fail to realize the consequences.

Today, it seems women are the ones who are collecting notches on their Prada belts by giving their bodies away easily. But if women themselves don’t value their bodies like they used to, why should men?

Some women will argue that if men have the right to sleep around, so should women. But I ask only one question: If women adamantly believe this, then why is it that when faced with the question of how many men have they slept with, most women who have slept around with truckloads of men always lie?

Any woman who is competing with men is fooling herself. That is the simple truth!

You Have Now Elected a Government That Will Honour Its Duties

Tinubu-360x225
National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has assured Nigerians that the incoming administration will make their lives better…

The former Lagos governor, made this known on Thursday at the Ladoke Akintola University, LAUTECH, during his lecture to mark the institution’s 12th convocation ceremony, during his address, he said:
I particularly rejoice with the youth of our nation whose hope and prospects for a better future are now bright. Their welfare and development are sure to receive much needed attention through the enhanced and progressive policies of the new federal government.
I must, however, state that for us as a nation to experience the change we yearn for, we should all be prepared for a fundamental change in our individual disposition and attitude toward nation building. This change at a personal level will help fuel a national re-orientation that will affect all sectors including governance. We must share the responsibility for change.
Let us use this opportunity to dedicate ourselves to ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach all and sundry. This is the only way to build a secure future for the teeming population of our youth, a large percentage of who have had to go through harsh experiences of insecurity, unemployment and an uncertain future. A great opportunity is now being presented to us to re-define our identity as a nation and re-order our values and priorities. This responsibility is yours as well as mine.
The nation can no longer afford to pay lip service to the development of her youths. I strongly believe that this country is blessed with vibrant and talented citizens whose capabilities for nation building are yet to be tapped. We must all stand in concert and unity of purpose to build a secure future for our country by developing our youth.
Government and youth have mutual duties in this regard. You owe as much to the nation as the nation owes to you. In the past, government has not always honoured its role. You have now elected a government that will honour its duties.
One of Government’s primary duties is to provide you with an education in harmony with the demands of our political economy. We must educate you with skills required by the job market that you shall encounter and not for some abstract economy found only in textbooks.
Then government must spur the economic growth that promises jobs and opportunity to all of you. A progressive government must turn its face from the austerity policies of the outgoing administrative that tried to manage poverty, but not end it. Such policies serve only to deepen and prolong the hardship of the average person. Such policies would lock us in a room without hope or safe exit. We dare not go in.
What do you think???

Bank of Industry (BOI) Introduces Nollyfund - A special product program for film makers/producers

In continuation of BOI’s support for the Nigerian Creative Industry, BOI has developed a special Product Program called “BOI NollyFund” under which Nigeria’s leading movie producers will receive financial support to produce international quality films and screen them through various platforms of movie distribution available both in Nigeria and internationally.

To support this process and ensure that only commercially viable scripts with good storylines benefit from the scheme, the Bank has set up a NollyFund Implementation Advisory Group made up of two (2) cinema management experts, one (1) national film distributor, two (2) production and post-production experts, two (2) film critics/reviewers, and two (2) film producers. The Group’s mandate is to critically review all the film scripts and associated budgets submitted to BOI by movie producers and make technical recommendations to BOI management for final credit appraisal and subsequent approval in line with the Bank’s Credit Policy.

NollyFund has an initial Program Limit of N1.0billion and a single obligor limit of N50million for individual loans.

The Fund can be accessed by Companies engaged in film production. Applicants are expected to provide commercially viable scripts and demonstrate a track record of successful movie productions. The producer is expected to sign up a reputable distributor who would issue a Minimum Guarantee and provide a cash deposit of 5% of the loan amount.  A Minimum Guarantee is a cash advance payable to the Producer by the Distributor in exchange for the exclusive rights to distribute a film in contractually stipulated media in agreed Sales Territory. This is similar to the internationally accepted loan structures for movie production and will definitely provide a great boost to Nigeria’s Nollywood.

The Bank has already accredited some reputable Distributors (namely: G-Media, Filmone Distribution Company, Silverbird Distribution Company and Genesis Deluxe Distribution Company) and Studio Operators (namely: Fans Connect Online Nigeria Limited (i.e. Afrinolly), Kingsley Ogoro Productions Limited and 4Screams International Nigeria Limited) to support this initiative.

It would be recalled that the Bank of Industry had in the recent past, financed the following creative-industry projects: Half of A Yellow Sun, Flower Girl, Digitization of Silverbird Cinemas, The Filmhouse, Viva Cinemas, Ozone Cinemas, G-media etc.

Interested movie producers are advised to visit www.boinigeria.com/nollyfund  to obtain more information on the Product features, the procedure for submission of applications, documentation requirements, pricing, amongst other relevant information.

Here’s Why Big Sean and Ariana Grande Broke Up

ariana big sean
Ariana Grande and Big Sean revealed not too long ago, that they have split – but everyone wondered what could have happened – And the break up announcement came shortly after Justin Bieber and Ariana danced on stage together and Big Sean was reported to have been angry about it – Well, TMZ seems to know why, they or should I say Sean decided to walk away… Read report below:

Sources tell TMZ … Sean claims it was him who broke off the relationship because she was “immature”. Sources say the downfall of their relationship started in February, when he made the most important appearance of his career at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Everyone showed — Kanye, Bieber, JLo, Chris Brown, Jay Z, A$AP Rocky, Tyga, Kylie and Kendall — everyone except Ariana. We’re told she needed to get ready for the Grammy’s the next day, which he found extremely selfish.
Sean also traveled to see her “10 times more” than she went to see him. He claimed once she demanded that he blow tens of thousands of dollars to take a private jet to see her. Sean, who grew up poor, felt she was a spendthrift … a sign of immaturity.
But the crowning blow was just after the breakup. They were still talking and the door was slightly open for a reconciliation, when Bieber jumped onstage in L.A. and grabbed Ariana from behind. Even though Ariana pushed Biebs away, Sean believes it was all calculated — NOT by Bieber but Ariana — to hurt him.
