He also visited the scene of the incident, where he inspected the cause of the attack, while saying that a joint team comprising men of the Operation Clean and Healthy Ogun State, OCHO, brigade, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the state ministry of Works would make up the search team.
The Governor directed the Ministry of Works to redesign the road and create appropriate water channels to guard against a recurrence of such incidents.
He also paid a condolence visit to the family of Alfa of Ogun State community, who lost their 14-year-old daughter, Olafatia in a flash flood close to the Governor’s lodge, early this week.
Amosun cautioned against being impatient whenever one encounters flash flood, but to allow the water to subside no matter how small they may seem, noting that it is more profitable to lose time than to lose lives.
The state has since the coming of the rainy season this year lost citizens to flood and Ala Alfa Secret cult Members, occasioned by poor drainage system and inadequate Security System , especially in Sagamu Ogun State. This has also prompted the de-silting of blocked drainage and Adequate Security System by the state government.
