Women have always been thought to be the weaker vessels, and never seem to be appreciated well enough for carrying on the human race – Recently some men in China, are been hooked up to a childbirth simulator to see what their partner’s go through – Guess what???

A hospital in the city of Jinan in eastern China’s Shandong Province, said they want to show men how much women suffer through childbirth, and to give men greater respect for what women go through, and most of the men, who participated are husbands to women who are pregnant.
Some men seemed reluctant— having been dragged there by their partners— while others were more enthusiastic, and according to reports, most of the men were reduced to tears, as one of them who spoke to reporters said;
‘I must admit I was curious and if what I experienced is really what she goes through, then I have to say I have changed my attitude.
‘It was really incredibly painful and I only had it for a few minutes… If it went on for hours I don’t know if I’d be able to bear it.
So how many of you still think women are the weaker sex?

“It was not easy seeing him suffer so much in the last two years after his money was taken away. We give God the glory for the gift of healing. He has told us not to press charges against the pastor who brought fraudsters to dupe him heavily as he said the incident is now in the past. Another good thing is that all his properties are intact and most of his major investments are doing fine.

Wazobia FM OAP, Grace Ekpo Talks About Colleagues with the Fake Accent

oap
Seriously, I thought I was the only one, who is really disgusted about the fake accent our radio presenters parade all the time – And have wondered for so long why on earth, are we so FAKE! Well, an OAP also seems to share my sentiment on this matter.

Grace Ekpo, who’s an OAP with Wazobia FM Abuja,in a recent chat with Encomium Magazine, expressed her disgust about OAPs who fake their accents, saying it is one of the major problems in the industry.
“We should stop faking accents and be real. Sometimes we fake this accent so much that people don’t understand us,”
Citing an experience with when she conducted an interview with American gospel singer, Donnie McClurkin, it was done in pidgin English, which he enjoyed;
“Let me give you an instance, when I hosted the American gospel singer, Donnie McClurkin, I asked him all the questions in pidgin. He had to listen closely to understand what I was saying, then responded in English.”
“It was challenging for him, but he enjoyed it! He even said it was one of his most exciting experiences on radio. He then went on to our sister station who use English, and he asked them why don’t they use the same language that I used. Not because he was faulting their English, but because that is our thing,”
I’m not asking all OAPs to speak Pidgin but please spare me the fake British or American accent(its disgusting – that’s MY opinion though)…What do you think???

"I was doing Good Music but Frustration led me to do 'Akpako' Music -Terry G

Terry G's success story is one that leaves many in awe. As some say, he makes music out of 'nonsense'. In an interview with Leadershipng, the talented instrumentalist and producer admits,he was forced to sing akpako music due to frustration...
On his success story
My brother if I tell you say I know how, na lie I dey lie (laughs). I have been studying the industry and I have learnt to give the people what they want. I started with Rhythm and Blues and went to shoot my video in South Africa. The buzz I got from the song was not satisfactory, so I became frustrated and maybe that frustration led me to do the street music I’m doing now- the Apako song.
On most Nigerian Song having lewd lyrics
You see, today’s music is evil. We call it commercial music. This is the music that brings the millions. People are still doing good music here but there is no buzz. It is the commercial music which some people term ‘bad’ music that is getting us the millions. It is all about the business of music and the glam that accompanies it. I said before that I was doing good music before, but the buzz was not there. So, I researched what the need is and experimented with songs like Make I Nack You Apako and others. It is not easy doing music; recording a song is a piece of creativity and you just do it from your heart and await the feedback from listeners.
