See Photos: Heavily pregnant woman slams anti-abortion campaigners

A video has gone viral after a pregnant woman slammed an anti-abortion group for filming and judging women who entered an abortion clinic .

Abort67 members denied specifically filming patients going into the surgery and claimed that they were using the cameras to provide evidence against those who accuse them of bullying tactics. The campaign group Abort67 , which was started in 2008, has been confronting women going into the clinic with posters and leaflets showing pictures of foetuses. She said
You are wrong in what you're doing.'You don't know why people are doing what they're doing, but you want to be out here judging and then filming.'
When one of the woman protesters tries to fight back by claiming that she had an abortion in the past, the pregnant passer-by labels her a hypocrite. She said:
'You had an abortion but because you're not happy with what you're doing, you're standing out here making other people feel guilty. When you had an abortion, that was your choice.'Many people have been abused, you don't know what their reasons are for, so I think this is so wrong on so many levels.'  There was a baby on the news that got found in the bin....
'Maybe if their mum didn't feel that way because of people like you, that baby wouldn't have died. You think it's better for them to get rid of it at ten weeks (in the womb) or to actually go through with the birth and then kill the child?'To be standing out here and making other people feel guilty is so wrong.
As the woman walks away, the protesters are left speechless and are unable to argue back.
Since the footage was uploaded, hundreds of people have taken to Twitter to applaud the woman for her 'inspiring speech....

Nyanya Bombing Suspect,Ogwuche seeks 100m compensation

The alleged mastermind of the April 14 twin bomb explosions that killed over 75 persons and wounded 100 others at a crowded motor park in Nyanya Abuja, Aminu Sadiq Ogwuche, has demanded the Federal Government pay him the sum of N100million as damages for unlawful detention.
In a suit filed by his lawyer Mr. Ahmed Raji, SAN, he also demanded a published apology in two national dailies.

He also requested that the court should make an order releasing him on bail and preventing the DSS from further arresting or detaining him, or in the alternative charge him to court within 48 hours of the court granting his orders. He argued that it was illegal for the DSS to still retain the accused person in its custody without arranging him over the commission of any act of criminality.

Ogwuche insisted that his continued detention in the custody of the Department of State Security, DSS, amounted to ‎a gross abuse of his fundamental human rights

On November 24, the two-count charge brought against Ogwuche was struck out by a Federal High Court in Abuja

See Photos: Chris Oyakhilome and daughter perform on stage

Parties affected by the divorce saga that hit the Christ Embassy Church months ago have since moved on.
A few days ago, Pastor Chris Oyakhliome performed on stage with his first daughter, Sharon, at the Christ Embassy 2014 International Pastors’ and Partners’ Conference.

Sharon, who recently turned 21 is a budding gospel musician.
Halfway through the rendition of her hit track “I am excellent”, she called on her dad to join her and together they happily ended the song.

Pastor Anita Oyakhilome who is in the UK was however absent at the conference.
She had recently filed for divorce from her estranged husband, and the founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
Speculations of the split between the couple came to light after church members in London sympathetic to their Pastor Anita, had set up a Facebook page calling out Pastor Chris for being un-Christian in his marriage, and how he has been treating Pastor Anita in the church.
The case is still in court.

Shocker! Kolade blasts Jonathan: Your Leadership Is A Failure

It looks like it's only those eating from President Goodluck Jonathan that are praising him. A former head of SURE-P, Dr. Christopher Kolade, on Thursday condemned Jonathan for not showing the right leadership in the manner he had been handling his responsibilities as the nation’s president.

He made reference to Jonathan’s decision to honour a political rally in Kano shortly after a bombing that killed several Nigerians, saying the best he could have done was “to postpone the political event.”

For choosing to continue with the programme, he said, the President did not demonstrate that he was sensitive to the pains of the people he is leading.

He said those who said the country “had never been this good” were lying, and that at over 80 years he could tell that the country had a robust history.
The respected statesman condemn all those singing Jonathan's praises, including TAN, and insisted that, “Nigeria was, at every other time, better than now.”

He spoke at the sixth Christopher Kolade Symposium organised by the Nigeria Leadership Initiative, an organisation he was a pioneer patron. He lamented the drift in leadership quality.
“If we get to a point when we do not care how the country is led, we have lost hope. The country is where it is today because some people sacrificed. Unfortunately, beyond stealing, our leaders are not ready to sacrifice anything,” he said.

Kolade said he took up a responsibility to lead the Subsidy Re-investment and Empowerment Programme to demonstrate his love for the country. Rejecting the appointment, he said, would have amounted to wishing the initiative failure.

He said he rejected allowance offer because he was financially stable. The second reason, according to him, was to enable him to quit when he noticed it was not going to succeed without the hassle of “waiting till end of the month to collect allowance.”

He said most Nigerians are unhappy with the leadership style of the Jonathan government.

PDP suspends its former chairman, Bamanga Tukur

The National Working Committee of the PDP has suspended its immediate past Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. According to a statement released this afternoon, Alhaji Tukur was suspended for taking the party to court without 'exhausting the internal redress avenues'.

Mr Tukur had recently dragged the party and its current chairman Adamu Mu'azu to court, asking the court to declare his resignation as the party chairman in January null and void. Find the statement after the cut...

The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic (PDP) at its 395th meeting held yesterday, December 3, 2014 reviewed recent national developments as they affect the party.

Among others, the NWC deliberated on the court case instituted against the National Chairman of the Party, Ahmed Adamu Mu'azu by the former National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur. The NWC reasoned that for instituting a claim and counter claim in suit FHC/ABJ /821/2014; Gurin vs PDP & 3 others without first exploring and exhausting the party's internal mechanism of redress and for attempting to stop the forthcoming National Convention to nominate the party's presidential candidate as well as regularize the position of the National Chairman and other members of the National Working Committee is unacceptable.

The NWC hereby suspends Dr. Bamanga Tukur and Aliyu Abuba Gurin for one month and refers them to the National Disciplinary Committee for infringing on section 58(1)(a)( b)( h)( l) of the PDP Constitution 2012( as amended)
