Word is that Karruche was spotted leaving the club with ASAP Rocky and Chris Brown got wind of it. The hip hop industry is a VERY small place . . . you can't be HEAUXING AROUND with rappers . . . and not have people know about it!!!

Jailbreak in Minna, 270 inmates freed, weapons stolen

Unknown gunmen stormed the Minna Medium Prison yard in Niger state around 4:30 this evening. They broke into the prison cells and set free about 270 inmates.

According to reports, the gunmen over powered the Prison officials and then broke into the prison's armory where they stole some weapons and bullet proof vests. This will be the second jail break in Nigeria in the last one week. One happened in Ekiti state on Monday December 1st.

South African and American hostages murdered in Yemen

A British-born American photojournalist and a South African teacher held by Al-Qaeda militants in Yemen were killed today during a failed U.S.-led rescue attempt. The raid was ordered by President Barack Obama because he feared imminent danger to the reporter.

Al-Qaeda had initially posted a video online threatening to kill photographer Luke Somers (pictured above). American forces in conjunction with Yemeni ground troops then launched a second rescue attempt.

 

The South African, Pieree Korkie was supposed to be released tomorrow December 7. The aid group helping to negotiate his release even told his wife; "The wait is almost over."

 

Both Somers and Korkie "were murdered by the AQAP terrorists during the course of the operation," 

 

In a statement, President Obama did not address Korkie by name, only saying he "authorized the rescue of any other hostages held in the same location as Luke." The South African government did not immediately comment on Korkie's death.

Buhari Reacts to Claims by PDP That He’s a Boko Haram Sponsor

A former Head of State and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, has called out the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for accusing him of benefiting from Boko Haram insurgency.

The PDP had in a statement through its Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh accused the Gen. Buhari (retd), of trying to make political gains from the war against Boko Haram, by stating that he will end Boko Haram insurgency in a few months, if elected.
Reacting to the claim, Buhari in a statement through his media aide, Rotimi Fashakin, said that he:

“is disheartened by the grotesque characterization of his personality in a statement, released on 3rd December, 2014 by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). He is horrified by the bare-faced falsehood, insidious fallacy and scurrilous untruth contained in the press statement of the ruling party, just for the purpose of cheap political agenda; bearing similarities with the despicable Emperor Nero who was fiddling while Rome burned.
It is true that under Muhammadu Buhari presidency, Insurgency shall not only be exterminated but Nigerians shall experience security in all ramifications as envisaged by the drafters of the Nation’s constitution in section 14. The reason is that the same patriotic zest and zero-tolerance for indiscipline and organized crime are still resident in the persona of the amiable elder-statesman. It is an irreproachable fact that Boko Haram insurgency has assumed this intolerably dangerous dimension, in the last four years, because this regime has chosen to play devious politics with a national calamity.

Whilst Nigerian villages, schools and markets were easily overrun with maniacal fury by the insurgent group because of inadequate security, this same individual enjoyed very large armada of security men provided by the government of Dr. Good luck Jonathan!

Lagos APC in Chaos Over State Primary Elections

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is not all pleased with the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, as a result of Fashola’s conduct before and during the just concluded APC governorship primary in the state.

According to PUNCH, Tinubu became angry when Fashola initially told him that he did not have a particular candidate for the APC primary only to emerge much later with a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, Mr. Olasupo Shahore, as his (the governor) preferred candidate.
According to a source close to Tinubu, he was not only angry with Fashola, but was “disappointed in him.” He said anger was a mild word to use in the situation, noting that the governor had a right to have a candidate. He said all Tinubu wanted was to know his mind – But Fashola kept Tinubu guessing. He told him he did not have a candidate. Though there were signs and media reports that he was backing someone, but Tinubu could not be relying on media reports about the governor in a situation like this, Punch reports.
Fashola who was absent from the primaries, was said to have gone to bury his uncle – however, a source claims that the issue on ground was the fact that Fashola was unwilling to fund the campaign of a candidate he considered as an enemy and that Fashola was not happy with the conduct of the primary.
And according to an aspirant, who asked spoke to Punch on anonymity:

“The way things are going, there may be mass defection from the APC as even the governor may dump the party soon. Tinubu has emasculated all of us, including Fashola who is not even being given a say. “We planned to shun the primary in protest after the party refused to postpone it following our request but we all agreed to come so that we can observe it properly in case the matter is taken to court.
“In any case, the dubious manner in which the state congress was carried out is already at a Federal High Court so there is a high possibility that the result of this event will be nullified.
“Only Tinubu has the list of the delegates and most of us were not able to reach out to them. This is most unfortunate.”
