Jordin Sparks talks Jason Derulo split, says he just stopped picking her calls

During an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club yesterday, Singer Jordin Spark, who split from Jason Derulo in July 2014, revealed that he broke up with her and never said a word to her again! She said she didn't even know they were officially broken up when he decided to call it quits.

Jordin said after a big argument one day, Jason left the house they shared. She said she'd apologized to him before he left, so she assumed everything was fine. After she didn't hear from him for several hours, she called his phone but he never responded. She said she kept calling him but he never called back or contact her for a long time. Then she sent him a text and told him to get his things out of her house (he was living with her). She said he came and got his things and that was the last time she heard from him.

About the car that Jason said he bought for her and wanted back, Jordin said she did get a BMW as a gift from him but later found out that he leased the vehicle. She said she took the car back to BMW dealership and bought herself a brand new Jeep for her birthday (which she showed off on Instagram - above). She said no hard feeling, she wishes him well and said he isn’t a bad guy.

Aliko Dangote interested in buying a stake in Brooklyn Nets?

That's the rumour..but likely untrue. They say Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote might be a buyer for the Brooklyn Nets Basketball team which current owner, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, is planning to sell.
"Sources on Tuesday confirmed a Bloomberg News report stating that Prokhorov has retained Evercore Partners to sell the franchise he acquired majority ownership of in May 2010 for $223 million. A league source said Evercore will gather bids potentially as soon as the end of the month. Sources likewise confirmed a report from Bleacher Report that the struggling Russian economy is a factor." Bloomberg reports
There are now reports from people with 'knowledge' that Dangote may be interested in buying, either as a fractional owner, or main owner. Time will tell. It'll definitely boost his international recognition

Gov. Oshiomole kicks out Igbinedion Uni students from state medical facility

Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomole today gave an executive order stopping the training of nursing students from the Igbinedion University at the state owned medical facilities, the Benin General Hospital and the Stella Obasanjo Hospital.

According to reports, the governor is angry at the school's management for collecting money from their students and not providing the necessary medical facilities for their training.

The students had up until now enjoyed free training at the state owned medical hospitals despite paying huge sums of money to their school for their training. Gov Oshiomole had earlier terminated an agreement with the management of the school to train their medical students at the state's specialist hospital over debts totaling N350million owed the state by the school.

Bathing regularly is a white person thing? That's what Naya Rivera thinks

Actress Naya Rivera raised eyebrows yesterday while talking about hygiene on The View by saying that bathing everyday is "such a white person thing…".

Big Sean's former fiancee made the silly comment after one of the show hosts mentioned that she showers three times a day (once before the show, once after the show and once before bed).

That's when Naya made the comment to the panel, explaining;
"I feel like showering more than once a day or every day is such a white people thing. My mom is half Black, half Puerto Rican, she showers every day, so I can say this. But I'm now married to a white man. He showers a lot, like 2, 3 times a day. I'm like, "What are you doing?"' '
Naya also admitted she only showers every few days;
'So the study says, a dermatologist says you are only supposed to shower once or twice every three days, so I'm right on the mark.'
Later, after Black Twitter dragged her by her hair, the Glee star insisted she was just joking...

When I look in the mirror, I see the face of a 30 year old-Nike Oshinowo

Ex beauty queen and TV host Nike Oshinowo has opened up to Allure on life as a single mum and plastic surgery .The 48 year old said

On life as a single mum:
Like everyone else, I just do the best I can. I’m constantly juggling. I constantly feel guilty. I constantly feel I should be better and should be doing a lot more with them. As a mother, it’s never ending. But I do acknowledge that I am very lucky to have a phenomenal team at home.

On if she would ever undergo plastic surgery:
It’s so easy for someone who looks like me to say NO; when every time I look in the mirror the face of a thirty-year old stares back at me. If I didn’t look like this; if I hadn’t aged so well; who knows? It’s an impossible question to answer.
 On her new talk show:
It’s no secret that I love TV. I’m a very visual person. With ‘Late Night with Nike Oshinowo’, I want to bring our industry leaders, designers, political leaders and musicians – really anyone who’s influencing pop culture – closer to its public through the means of frank, candid interviews.

On the feedback from her show:
I can never be happy with my performance. I cringe when I see myself on TV. I can’t bear to listening to the sound of my own voice but I’m told the show has been extremely well received.

Seun Kuti denies saying people shouldn't vote for Buhari, calls out reporter

Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti took to his Facebook page this morning to deny saying in an interview with Tribune that folks shouldn't vote for Gen. Buhari. Seun even called out the reporter he had the interview with. Continue to see what Seun allegedly said..

From Sunday Tribune January 11th, Seun Kuti was quoted as saying...
“I will only urge Nigerians, especially her youths, to come out enmasse to elect the ruler of their choice so that Nigeria’s democracy will continue to grow. As for me though, I will never vote for Buhari because of what he did to my father. It is a personal grouse. Buhari denied me the chance of seeing my father in the early stage of my life. He arrested and detained Fela in Kirikiri for the same number of years I was growing up without a father, and even did not allow his family members to see him on a daily basis. He eventually jailed my father and I will always remember that. He jailed my innocent father on currency trafficking, but he is claiming to be a saint now. Truth is that I have no reason to give my vote to any of the two contestants, but more especially Buhari because of the eternal emotional damage he caused the Kuti family, especially me"

US Military’s Youtube and Twitter Accounts Hacked by Pro-ISIS Group

US Military's Youtube and Twitter accounts have been hacked by a pro-ISIS group

CNN stated that the accounts were subsequently suspended, and investigations are currently ongoing.

See the US Central Command's statement below:

"Earlier today, U.S. Central Command’s Twitter and YouTube sites were compromised for approximately 30 minutes. These sites reside on commercial, non-Defense Department servers and
both sites have been temporarily taken offline while we look into the incident further. CENTCOM’s operational military networks were not compromised and there was no operational impact to U.S. Central Command. CENTCOM will restore service to its Twitter and YouTube accounts as quickly as possible. We are viewing this purely as a case of cybervandalism.

In the meantime, our initial assessment is that no classified information was posted and that none of the information posted came from CENTCOM’s server or social media sites. Additionally, we are notifying appropriate DoD and law enforcement authorities about the potential release of personally identifiable information and will take appropriate steps to ensure any individuals potentially affected are notified as quickly as possible."
