Boko Haram Sends Message of Apology to Adamawa Residents???

New reports claim that a helicopter that hovered the skies of Adamawa on Thursday, dropped flyers, which residents believe may have come from a breakaway faction of Boko Haram sect – The leaflets contain message of apology to the people – And seem to have be written in Nigerien or Chadian not Nigerian Hausa – See message translation below:

“We started this jihad of Ahlis sunna lidda awati together as one. We sleep together, we eat and drink together. We studied the Holy Quran and prayed together in the early days of this Jihad. Those of us that are doing the work of God for the past 5yrs today.
“We have to realize today that we are being used for selfish and corrupt reasons. We have reached a situation whereby our leaders are enjoying and we are suffering in the name of jihad.
“The Holy Quran in 8;61 has told us that the religion of islam of peace. Again the Holy Quran has been very clear on the rules of jihad in 2;190. And again in 6;151 that no one should kill and that life is sacred and it belongs to God.
“Though we started good (in honor) with preaching and teaching rules of Islam. We have woken up today to burn villages and kill those who have done nothing to us especially Christians without any just cause.
“We have sent people away from their homes and villages. And we have killed Muslims even though the Quran has forbidden so in 4;-29-30. All the properties we found in those villages and towns were parked and sold on the streets of Ndjamena Chad, Bosso Niger, and Fotokol Cameroon.
“And the proceed went to their pockets calling themselves our leaders. even though its supposed to be for our jihad. And calling for more in destroying our country for no reason”

Actor Hank Anuku Has HIV?????

I stumbled somewhere and read a report about Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku(who has gone AWOL by the way) tested positive to HIV and intentionally infected his wife – I was so heartbroken but before launching into pity mood…I decided to Google the story and found this instead:

Popular gangster actor, Hanks Anuku is heartbroken at the moment. Like in a movie set, the actor is brooding over his wounds after news went viral online during the week, accusing him of testing positive to HIV/AIDS, and deliberately infecting his wife with the deadly virus. Anuku, who is hale and hearty has since refuted the report. His publicist, Bayo Adeoye while reacting to the report, described it as “not only confusing but a total lie.”
In an online chat with HVP, Bayo said “It is so sad the way our journalists are working. I wonder where the story came out from, and nobody bothered to seek for Hanks’ angle. I decided not to talk because the story is not only confusing but it’s senseless.” Bayo, however, confirmed that Hanks has been living in Ghana for the past four years, and is hale and hearty. The actor is said to be lamenting the bad light in which the news has put him and his immediate family members, most especially his wife and children.
According to him, “ There is no iota of truth in that story! This is me, I am fine and healthy.” Sources close to the actor, said he’s really devastated about the story that he slept with over 80 women in 2011, and deliberately inflected his beloved wife with the deadly HIV/AIDS virus.
He’s also wondering why anyone would sit down to cook up such a terrible story when he has not offended anyone. News went viral online that the actor, who is now a born again Christian, was said to have revealed how he enjoyed life back in Zambia, sleeping with different women, and contracting the deadly HIV/AIDS virus which he later got his wife infected too. The news spread like a wildfire on the internet. But one wonders who could be demon that targeted at tarnishing Hanks’ hard earned name just for nothing.

Pics: Fire rips through one of the world's tallest residential buildings in Dubai

The Dubai Marina Torch, an 86-storey building which stands (1,105 ft), was engulfed by fire in the early hours of today forcing a mass evacuation. The fire reportedly started around the 52nd floor then moved to the lower parts of the building. Thousands of residents were evacuated from the highrise and it took more than a dozen fire trucks to extinguish the flames.

Authorities say there were no reports of deaths or injuries from the Marina Torch fire and the cause of the fire is not immediately clear. See photos from the incident after the cut...

35yr old Nigerian woman allegedly gang raped in a moving car India

A 35-year-old Nigerian woman with tourist visa was allegedly gang raped in a moving car in India. According to police, four people have been arrested in connection with the case. The Nigerian lady was found in an unconscious state in Mayur Vihar area in New Delhi around 2.43 am on Friday.

According to Times of India, security operatives said when the Nigerian woman was found, she was under the influence of alcohol. They received a call from a passer-by who spotted the woman being molested in the car.

The Police added that the woman did not know any of the accused but entered their car which contained men, aged between 22 to 25 years outside a mall in South Delhi. The rapists who have since been arrested and their car confiscated drove the car around for at least an hour taking turns raping the woman before reaching the DND toll plaza where they dropped her off.

"I am 63, and I have slept with 3,000 men" - woman tells her story

Until the age of 28, Marie Calvert had only ever had sex with one man, her husband Barry. Then she took up swinging and everything changed. The body count went from 1 to 3,000. In fact, she claims that one night, she slept with 14 men. Marie, now 63, tells her epic story below...

It was the night I slept with 14 men that I first started to try to work out how many partners I’ve been with. The truth is, I’m not sure. My conservative estimate is about 100 guys a year for more than three decades. I’m 63 now and I’ve slowed down a little – but only a little. Why do I do it? Having sex isn’t something I do for a living, but it is my passion. It’s the most enjoyable, exhilarating, satisfying way to spend your time. Some women like yoga, some like badminton. I like carnality.

I am actually married. Barry and I have been together since I was 15 – we wed when I was 19, have two grandchildren, and he’s my world. But neither of us puts sex on a pedestal. We see it for what it is: separate from love. It’s not natural to stick with one sexual partner for 60 years. Life is about experimenting and experiencing, and that’s what we do. Barry goes with other women. I don’t get jealous because I know he loves me. Until the age of 28, I’d only been with him and we had a terrific sex life, but one day he brought home a swingers’ magazine he’d picked up from a workmate. He sort of joked we should try it; I told him not to be daft, and he never mentioned it again.

But I kept looking at the mag and imagining how fun it might be. Eventually I told him we should give it a go. He looked like a kid at Christmas. The first couple we met – through the listings in that magazine – were university lecturers in their 40s, and I still remember driving to their home that Friday. Barry stopped the car and said, “Are we sure about this?” We were so nervous, but we were also insanely excited. I said we’d try it once and see how it went. And it went… joyously.

As soon as we met them I was flirting with the guy. John was sophisticated and handsome, and over dinner there was this intense chemistry. Afterwards, there were a few minutes when just he and I were in the living room, and I thought it was now or never so I kissed him, and that was that. By the time Barry came in with John’s wife, we were otherwise engaged. I remember looking at Barry’s face and seeing a big smile come over it; I knew everything would be fine, and that life had changed for ever.

We became committed swingers, spending weekends meeting up with couples or going to parties to swap partners. Suddenly everything was exciting. You’d be at work, and you’d think about what you were up to that evening and it sent a shiver down your spine. Some couples – like John and his wife – would become close friends, even when the sex stopped. Others you’d see only once. The night I slept with 14 men was at a swingers’ party in Manchester. I remember driving there feeling almost uncontrollably lustful. The next day I felt achy, in that lovely way, like when you’ve been to the gym.

In 1997, we decided to open a swingers’ club in Sheffield. We were fed up with work and wanted to do something we were passionate about. It’s still thriving today. We never have sex during opening hours – it’s our business and we’re professional about it. But, of course, when the place shuts, we’ve got an entire club full of facilities – and an ever-growing circle of open-minded couples – to play with. It’s not all been perfect, of course. Not every lover is attentive. I remember in my 40s going with an 18-year-old, just to see what it would be like. Quick was the answer.

We’re safety-conscious and I’ve never felt in any danger. Barry is normally in the same room or not far away. I’ve recently had a knee operation, which means I’m walking with a stick, so I’m taking it easy. I had only three lovers last year. I still have the same sex drive but I’m more relaxed now. I’m not someone who’s ever going to dress like a woman half her age just to get attention. But if guys still find me attractive – well, why not? People ask if we have any regrets and we do – we wish we’d found that mag five or six years earlier.

Obasanjo is a father to me and I am his first political son - GEJ

President Jonathan says despite former Pres. Obasanjo's recent verbal attacks on his administration, he still sees him as his father and his first Political son. GEJ said God used people, including the former president to make him become the President of Nigeria. President Jonathan said this in an interview with Tribune in Lagos

"First and foremost, Obasanjo is a father to me. By divine providence and the grace of God, I am the President of Nigeria today. It is not by my strength. But God uses human beings to actualise His own blessings on human beings. And He used so many Nigerians, including former President Obasanjo, to play one role or the other for me. I became the deputy governor of a state, became the governor, the vice president and president. I have no issues with him, and I really don’t want to join issues with President Obasanjo. 

I think it is not necessary. But I will use this opportunity, because you asked, to just plead with my father that he is a leader, a former president of the country. He has led the country more than anybody, eight years of democratic governance and almost four years of military governance. No other person has that kind of record. The stability of this country is critical in terms of the economy of this country. Rating agencies downgrade countries that are going into elections because the feeling is that there would be crisis. When you paint the colour of instability for your own nation, you are doing so much injustice to the country because it affects the economy of the country, not just affecting the country in terms of security and social issues alone. It affects the economy directly. So, I plead with very senior citizens that Nigeria is dear to us; we don’t have any other country than Nigeria. So, actions and inactions, or utterances, should be guarded so that we don’t expose our country to the international community as if it is a country in danger, a country that is about to collapse. You are frightening investors, especially those who invest hot cash, to pull out their money from the country and that would affect the stock market and it would affect the economy. For one reason or the other, Obasanjo may disagree with me as his first political son. You can even disagree with your own biological children, as a human being, not to talk of disagreeing with your political children. So, he can agree or disagree with me, but the utterances have to be managed in a way that it does not affect the economy and security of this country"he said.

On how he felt watching Chief Obasanjo destroy his PDP membership card on the television, Jonathan said the incident had no effect on him because the attacks had been consistent.
