Military Arrest Terrorists Disguised as Women in Borno

Terrorists disguised as women in Baga, Borno State have been arrested by troops involved in the ongoing counter terrorism operation in the North-East.

The Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, who stated this in a statement on Monday, did not give the exact number of the terrorists arrested.
Olukolade had said on Sunday that troops were screening a group of people mostly women in Baga to ascertain their true identities and to find out whether they were supporters of the deadly sect or not – Now the troops have arrested many terrorists hiding in Baga apart from those captured during the battle to liberate the town, Punch reports.

“The cordon and search in Baga has revealed some terrorists disguising as women.
“The searches are also yielding more discoveries of arms especially bombs hidden in various locations, especially Baga town.
“Apart from those captured in the course of fighting, many terrorists hiding in the town are being arrested and troops are still busy interrogating the suspects.
“In furtherance of the mission to clear terrorists from all their enclaves by the military, the Nigerian Air Force has stepped up its air bombardments of identified targets in Gwoza, Bama and Sambisa forest, preparatory to other phases of the mission.
“The air strikes have been highly successful as they achieved the aims, hitting vital targets with required precision. Terrorists are now in disarray as they scamper to escape from the impact of air bombardment of their locations in the forest.”

Handsome Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo who has been romantically linked with pretty Ghanaian Actress, Yvonne Nelson but in a new interview with the Nigerian Tribune, he bares his relationship with her:

On his relationship with Yvonne Nelson, he said:

“The truth is that Yvonne and I have been good friends for a long time. Apart from the fact that we are colleagues who take our job seriously, we also look out for ourselves like good friends do. Did Denrele Just Come Out as GAY???

Denrele Edun as long as I can remember has had his sexuality in doubt by a lot of critics and fans – Many have wondered if the weird Channel O VJ is gay or straight – Well, recently Denrele who says he is a sexual outlaw whenever questions are raised about his sexuality in a Twitter interview with Kimani Off air on February 22nd, when he was asked if he is gay, said:

“Being gay is a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it!”.

So does that mean he is gay???

My Parents Knew I Was an Armed Robber

Is it the hard economic situation of Nigeria or pure desperation that would drive a 22year old, who still has a lot to be optimistic about into armed robbery? Well, according to Punch, a suspected member of an armed robbery gang, Mutiu Rasheed, who was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command, has said his parents were aware that he was an armed robber.

Rasheed, who was arrested along with two others ─ Ahmed Musiliu and Sodiq Dada by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad on February 5, during interrogation said his parents, who knew about his robbery operations, had warned him to return the guns in his possession, but he refused.

“I stayed in Ketu with my parents where I worked in an aluminium company before joining the gang.
“My mother first knew about this when other gang members came to our house to report to her that I had fled with their guns to Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
“She then called me on the phone to return the guns, but I did not listen. I was using the guns to go on operations in the Ijebu Ode area.
“When we went out as a gang, we snatched vehicles which were usually Toyota products.
“We sold them, but the gang did not give me my correct share. Since the police arrested me, my parents have not come to check on me because they are aware of all my activities.”

And another member of the gang, Musiliu, 23, who had served a one-year jail term at the Ikoyi Prison:

“In 2008, I was arrested for armed robbery. We were five members in that gang. I was sent to the Ikoyi Prison where I served one-year jail term. We had robbed in the Ikorodu, Oshodi, Ketu and Ijebu Ode areas.
“When I came out of prison, I joined another gang. The gang leader provided the guns. I was part of the gang that robbed a Toyota Camry vehicle in Ikorodu area. We sold the vehicle at a giveaway price and I was given N100, 000.”

And the third, Dada, said he was formerly working as a commercial bus driver before he was lured to join the gang.

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has banned the movie ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ in Nigerian cinemas – The movie which was highly anticipated by movie lovers, unfortunately will no longer find its way into Nigerian cinemas…

Nigeria isn’t the first to ban the movie as countries such as Kenya and Malaysia did that a while ago.
The movie which is based on Fifty Shades of Grey, a 2011 erotic romance novel by British author E. L. James, traces the deepening relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a young business magnate, Christian Grey.
The novel explicitly covered erotic scenes featuring elements of sexual practices such as bondage/discipline, dominance/submission, and sadism/masochism (BDSM).

Patience Jonathan Not Responsible for APC Campaign Rally Attack – Tom Ateke

I don’t know where this is coming from, but some quarters are alleging that the wife of the president, Patience Jonathan(who is a native of Okrika Local Government Area), was responsible for the attack at the APC campaign rally in Rivers state – Well, former Niger Delta militant leader, Ateke Tom, has rubbished such claims…

Ateke Tom, has however vouched for the First Lady, saying she is a woman of peace and would never perpetuate violence:

“Politicians are pointing accusing fingers; but they are all politicians. But what I am sure of is that the President’s wife can never be involved in the attack at Okrika.
“She is seen as the mother of the country and she hates violence and the shedding of blood. She can’t be involved in such an act and I disagree with those saying she is responsible for the attack on APC campaign ground.”

Man Strangles Wife Because She Threatened to Call the Cops on Him

According to UK Mirror, 31year old Andrea Crew, had called the police on her husband Caleb after he’d poured motor oil over her head in a terrifying attack – but when Caleb was charged to court for domestic violence, Andrea had a change of heart. She couldn’t face sending the father of her children to prison – so she dropped all the charges and they drove home together to try again – and that was a mistake that cost her life:

Although Andrea forgave Caleb, and the couple drove home together from the court, they started to argue again and Andrea threatened to call the police and report him. Caleb was angry and when they stopped outside a local bank their fight escalated. He pulled Andrea into the back seat of the Jeep and, in a rage, Caleb strangled her with his bare hands.
When he felt she still had a pulse, he stuffed his suit jacket in her mouth and wrapped the tie he’d worn to look smart in court around Andrea’s neck, pulling it tight. “Goodbye,” he said, as the life drained from her face.
He dumped Andrea’s dead body in local woods and went to pick up his daughters from their babysitter. That night, he put them to bed and returned to the woods. He stuffed his wife’s body in a bag, along with a backpack weighed down with granite and dumbbells. Caleb drove to a bridge where he rolled Andrea into the Occoquan River.
A lot of women have lost their lives because of love – love for an abusive partner – seriously why stay in a relationship with someone who hits you???

According to the Governor;

“I wish they can see spiritually what I am talking about that Buhari, despite the hullabaloo will never be president. I predicted my return as Ekiti State Governor and I am saying it again that Buhari will never rule Nigeria again.
“After President Goodluck Jonathan, there will be a young element in his late 50s from the North that will be Nigeria president. I want to liken this revelation to the story of Elijah and Elisha. I am the Elijah while my followers are Elisha.”

He added further:

“I owe it a duty to Nigeria and its people to expose the antics of the APC cabal whose only interest is to seize power to further their selfish interests.
“Without doubt, it is obvious that these cabal in the APC are trying so hard to deceive Nigerians on Buhari’s health status. That’s the reason they have been using photoshoped pictures to defend their lies on Buhari’s UK trip.
“First, they used a March 5, 2013 picture, claiming that Buhari was taking a walk in London on Thursday. Later they came up with another poorly cropped picture of Buhari with former British Prime Minister,Tony Blair.
“The same people who lied in September 2012 that they received a gold card invitation to attend the Democratic National Convention in the United States of America are behind the robing of Buhari in the garment of lies and I challenge Buhari to swear by the Holy Quran that he did not visit hospital in the United Kingdom last week.
“However, I want to disappoint this selfish cabal. Buhari is only raising their hope and that hope will be dashed.”
