David Mark Blasts False Prophets in Nigeria. Demands They Apologize to Nigerians

David Mark has criticized the prophets and men of God who mislead Nigerians with false prophesies. He called on them to apologize to Nigerians, because according to him, many Nigerians had fled to their hometown while the rest run away from the country thinking there would be ‘war’ and bloodshed. He also went ahead to call them prophets of doom, saying they speak nothing but lies.

His words
“On election day, people thought that the fight was going to be one that had never been seen in this country before, but God heard our prayers, the election came and went, no major incidents. Results were announced and President Goodluck Jonathan conceded defeat even before the final result and congratulated General Buhari. I think this is God’s way of telling Nigerians that he has put us together and we must remain one united country. Those who were predicting that this country will be gone should apologise to Nigerians; there were so many prophesy. The problem with all these prophets is that when things do not go their own way, they find another way of coming back and telling us that what they meant was this, they spoke in tongues and we did not understand and they averted the doom through prayer deceiving gullible Nigerians. As a nation, we have risen beyond the wishes of all these prophets of doom, but what is more important is that we have established a firm root of democracy in this country,” he said.

Photos: Man pours acid on his girlfriend after his pastor told him she was behind his illness

22-year-old Ghanaian lady identified as Anita Otema (pictured above) has lost her left eye and parts of her body badly disfigured after her ex-boyfriend attacked her with acid at her Abeka Lapaz residence in Ghana following his pastor's revelation that she was behind his constant ill-health.

Narrating what happened to Ghana's Joyfm, Anita said her 28 year old ex-boyfriend Kwabena Fosu popularly known as Abodeman attacked her in the night at their home with the corrosive substance after his pastor accused her of being behind his recurring ill-health and told him she (Anita) was making money spiritually through his illnesses.

After her boyfriend was told this by the Pastor, he stormed their house where they both lived as a couple and poured the acid on her. He has been on the run since the incident.

Nigeria Heads to a Long Trek to the Wilderness Under Buhari – PDP

PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has stressed that the President- Elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari shows no concern to burning national issues threatening the unity and stability of the country.

The PDP through its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a statement on Wednesday said:
“while well-meaning Nigerians and the international community are celebrating the peace fostered by the patriotic action of President Goodluck Jonathan in conceding defeat, General Buhari and his party, the APC have been moving around the country instigating division, engineering crisis and heightening tension in the polity”.
“Whereas General Buhari had assured Nigerians that he would be the President of the entire nation and not of a political party, his actions in the last one week show otherwise as he has continued to display sectionalism and insensitivity to matters inimical to the survival of our democracy and wellbeing of Nigerians.
“Instead of settling down to plan a smooth transition and design ways of deepening democracy in appreciation of the mandate given to him, General Buhari has tacitly encouraged his men to foment crisis and cause panic in the bid to muzzle personal freedom and impose a reign of terror in the land.
“For instance, Gen. Buhari has remained indifferent to the crisis in Ekiti where outgoing APC lawmakers who are supposed to be campaigning for the renewal of their mandates on Saturday have been mobilized to Oshogbo in Osun state by the APC to perfect an ignoble plot to remove a democratically elected government in the state.
“APC’s ambition in Ekiti coupled with its odious triumphalism in the aftermath of the Presidential election have led to avoidable confrontations and near breakdown of law and order in the state as the people rise to defend the mandate freely given to the PDP.
“In continuation of this display of arrogance in victory, Buhari’s men in Lagos have dragged the revered traditional institution into the political fray with the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu threatening death to supporters of the PDP, an action that has brought outrage from Nigerians with General Buhari playing the ostrich.
“It is indeed unfortunate that while his men are causing crisis and threatening Nigerians, General Buhari, instead of calling them to order displays his insensitivity by jetting around the country campaigning for his party.
“If this sort of insensitivity and arrogance of victory are foretaste of what to expect in a Buhari presidency, then our dear nation and its people are headed for a long trek in the wilderness,”

Three boys, 11-months old Aderomola Orekoya, 4 year old Adedamola Orekoya and 6 years  Demola Orekoya were taken from their home in Surulere yesterday morning April 8th by a housemaid their mum employed just a day before. American Based Pastor Criticizes Korede Bello’s Performance in a Church

korede
Marvin artiste, Korede Bello, performed in the Harvesters International Christian Centre – Where he performed his hit songs to mark the Easter celebration – And this didn’t go very well with a US based Pastor, Olusola Fabunmi, who has criticized the ‘Godwin’ hitmaker over his performance in a CHURCH…

According to Pastor Fabunmi, who believes only people who are spitit-filled, have the right to sing in God’s house – Had this to say, in his words about Korede’s performance…
“There must be clearly defined boundaries of who should sings or ministers in churches. Some of the question that comes to mind are; is he born again? Sanctified with the spirit of God and baptised in the Holy Spirit?
Let’s ask ourselves, what’s even the purpose of people singing in churches and Christian concerts? Where purposes is lacking and abuse is inevitable writes Francis Wale Oke in his book; The Power of the Holy Spirit”.
He added that:
“So, I believe very strongly that one major purpose of choristers or psalmists singer is to prepare the minds and hearts of the word of God that is to come shortly”.
“ I wish to submit by saying that the only differences that makes the differences between Churches gatherings/ programs and other like clubs, parties is the presence of Almighty God,”
Do you agree with the Pastor???

The 'Epic Failure' that is Burna Boy - OAP Shade Ladipo writes

All these celebs coming for each other. Y'all are free to use my platform anytime..hehe. Shade Ladipo is an On-Air-Personality and TV producer. Read what she wrote about Burna Boy below..
If you had asked me 6 weeks ago which Artiste I was going to write on, it would have been about how bad a performer Naeto C is and why he should give up being a performing artiste but somehow, I think Burna Boy has trumped all this with what I call an Epic Failure at being an artiste.
I watched Burna Boy perform for a smallish crowd at Industry night like 4 months ago and I thought to myself 'Dis guy dey feel 'im sef die'
He hoarded the microphone even though he was just a guest on the stage and at a point the owner of the night had to just ingest himself into the performance 'make e no be like say'.
I then decided that I wanted to see him perform live again because you see, I am a huge fan of Burna Boy and live music in general. Infact I did an instagram post on 5 things I like about Burna Boy like 8 months (FYI I do not know him personally on any level)

So when Gidi Cultural Fest advertised that Burna Boy was in their line up I was pretty excited.
I waited from 9PM till 4:30AM for the moment he would arrive on stage and 'Ol Boy did he arrive....Burna arrived in a construction type truck which was amazing and then......it all went down hill from there

First there was no introduction from him which was not bad or even noticeable considering a great number of people in the crowd were tired from the whole event proper, I then noticed that Burna did not really seem to care if the crowd were feeling him, of course he made sure we shouted to the parts of the songs that are most noticeable but asides that, Burna was having fun on the stage sometimes with his dancers without any kind of connection to the crowd.

The place could have been empty and Burna would have performed the same way he did. The set wasn't impressive as the mixes were skipped into each other without much thought, Burna was singing on his songs which already had vocals (and he was off key half of the time), at a point he couldn't even sing along to a particular song and he really just let the song do its thing and finally without saying a word and without the song ending, Burna just left the stage like someone had insulted his family lineage.

Like who comes on stage and leaves abruptly without notice, haba did we annoy you? Abi we didn't come on time?

You must understand that Burna Boy was one of the Major headlines for the event so a good number of people had waited it out to hear and see him perform and in my opinion that was the worst performance of ALL time.

My advice for the young cats who got on stage that night is simple
YOUR FANS MAKE YOU ('make' being used in continuos present because they can also break you, its an ongoing process)

No apologies but please try to make brilliant music and have no one listen to it, you will simply be a studio rat without a penny to your name.

P.S.
M.I. Abaga was on stage before Burna and I will cry and die for a true Artiste like Mr. Incredible because every step of the way he sees, acknowledges and feeds off the crowd (Same for Falz, Waje, Awilo Logomba, & Vector who also performed)

Burna please grow up, you are talented but you cannot eat talent, people must key into your talent and for it to be sustainable they must key into it for a very long time (unless you are interested in flash in the pan then you are on course)
Being an Artiste transcends just coming on stage and giving us back the same songs which we already have on CD, being a performing Artiste is about so much more.

P.S.S. Money slow to enter, Money quick to go (Ask Idris, Ask Styl Plus, Ask Olu Maintain)
