Twin schoolgirls who fled Britain to become brides of terrorists in Syria are now said to have escaped and trying to return home…

There are reports that three teenage girls, including Zahra and Salma Halane, 17, are thought to have escaped the clutches of Islamic State in Mosul, Iraq.
The girls, who are believed to have been radicalised online by their brother Ahmed disappeared from their home in Manchester last July, but are now believed to want to return
However, one blogger known as Mosul Eye has revealed that the ISIS militants were desperately hunting for the girls, and if they are caught by the extremists they will almost certainly be executed.
The twins who before the y disappeared were aspiring to be doctors, were said to have married IS militants but were widowed when their husbands were killed in fighting.
According to Raffaello Pantucci, Director at the International Security Studies at RUSI:

‘If you look on past form, [ISIS] have jailed people… or they’ve simply executed them.
‘They’ve quite publicly executed people who they say were trying to defect or became spies in some way and they’ve punished them with death.
‘I can’t think of cases where they have executed jihadi brides but it’s possible they could execute them too.
‘What we don’t know is what they’re being accused of or why they ran away at the moment, whether it’s apostasy, abandonment, or adultery from their husbands, it’s difficult to know exactly what is happening.’

On the girls’ chances of survival, he added:

‘The terrain [around Mosul] is treacherous. It would be very difficult for three small girls. I don’t know how good their Arabic was, I don’t know if they know the area or how much money they have.
‘But if they have managed to escape and they are now trying to find a safe place to go then they’re in for a very tough time.’

Hmmmm!!! Why even allow yourself to be radicalised in the first place???

Fight erupts in Burundi between soldiers loyal to the president & ones loyal to army general

Heavy fighting over the control of affairs in Burundi is currently ongoing between soldiers loyal to Burundi president Nkurunziza and those loyal to the leader of the coup that overthrew the president yesterday, Godefroid Niyombare.

According to reports, soldiers loyal to President Nkurunziza are in full control of the presidential palace, the national radio and TV stations, the airport and the centre of Bujumbura, Burundi's capital.


Media houses including radio and TV stations have been attacked and beaming signals stopped at the moment. The whereabouts of the President is still unknown as he has since left Tanzania where he went to brief members of the African Union on the crisis in his country regarding his third term bid when the coup was declared.

Meanwhile the African Union Peace & Security Council will convene an emergency meeting this afternoon to consider the situation in Burundi.

Tyga has been ordered to keep his distance from high schools in Los Angeles and the order didn't come from the police, just from a student who hates his love life.

A guy named Hanksy (a combination of Banksy and Tom Hanks) designed fliers carrying Tyga's face and posted it around Calabasas High School and other places around Los Angeles as sign warning that the rapper might be on the loose.

Hanksy tells TMZ on May 13 that even though there are other reasons why he's doing this, but his art is inspired by 25-year-old rapper's relationship with Kyle jenifer whom by the way has droped out from school

Sanusi, a former Central Bank Governor, said that the audit report had indicted the NNPC of misappropriating funds despite insinuations by Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke that the report had vindicated the corporation.

  Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has responded to the recent audit conducted into the accounts of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) by PriceWaterhouseCooper.

  Sanusi, a former Central Bank Governor, said that the audit report had indicted the NNPC of misappropriating funds despite insinuations by Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke that the report had vindicated the corporation.

  The Emir made his observations via an article published on Financial Times on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

  The article reads:

  “Just over a year ago President Goodluck Jonathan suspended me from my position as governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria after I questioned an estimated $20bn shortfall in oil revenues due to the treasury from the state oil company.”

  “As I said then, you can suspend a man, but you cannot suspend the truth. The publication last month of a PwC audit into the “missing billions” brings us a step closer to it.”

  “Contrary to the claims of petroleum minister Diezani Alison-Madueke, the audit report does not exonerate the NNPC. It establishes that the gap between the company’s oil revenues between January 2012 and July 2013 and cash remitted to the government for the same period was $18.5bn. And it goes into detail about the NNPC’s account of how it used that money, which raises serious questions about the legality of the state oil company’s conduct.”

  “The auditors say a significant part of the unremitted funds is supposed to have gone towards a kerosene subsidy that had been stopped two and a half years earlier by the late President Umaru Yar’Adua. His decree never appeared in the official gazette, leading some to question whether it ever had legal force.”

  “Evidence disclosed in the report suggests this is a sideshow. The executive secretary of the agency charged with administering subsidies confirmed that, acting on Yar’Adua’s orders, it had ceased granting subsidies on kerosene. There was no appropriation for such a subsidy in the 2012 or 2013 budgets.”

  “Throughout all this, Nigerians paid 120-140 naira a litre of kerosene, far more than the supposed subsidised price of 50 naira. Yet the state oil company withheld $3.4bn to pay for a subsidy that in effect did not exist. I have consistently held that this was a scam that violated the constitution and siphoned off money from the treasury.”

  “Of the $18.5bn in revenues that the state oil company did not send to the government, about $12.5bn appears by my calculations to have been diverted. And this relates only to a random 19-month period, not the five-year term of Mr Jonathan, the outgoing president.”

  “Nigerians did not vote for an amnesty for anyone. The lines of investigation suggested by this audit need to be pursued. Any officials found responsible for involvement in this apparent breach of trust must be charged.”

  Sanusi was suspended from his position as CBN governor in February 2014 after he alleged that the NNPC had failed to remit $20 billion in oil funds.

  The allegation however led President Goodluck Jonathan to authorize the audit.

  The full report was released on Jonathan’s orders on April 27, 2015, after President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari declared that he would still probe the allegation of missing funds.

According to reports, Boko Haram terrorists being trained in Iraq have been killed by a vigilante group.

The Nigerian insurgents were killed by the Mosul Youth Resistance Movement on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, Bas News reports.

The Boko Haram members were said to have been receiving training from the Islamic State terror group (ISIS) before their deaths in the Dargaza area of Eastern Mosul.

“The Nigerian Boko Haram militants were in Mosul to take part in a military training course conducted by Islamic State (IS),” spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Saed Mamuzini reportedly said.

Boko Haram pledged its allegiance to ISIS in March via an audio statement.

The group's leader, Abubakar Shekau is believed to be on the run and his escape from Nigeria was supposedly aided by ISIS operatives.
