R. Kelly sued by his older brother for not paying his salary

According to TMZ  R. Kelly's brother Bruce Kelly is suing him because he hasn't been paid in over 3 months. Read report below...
"R Kelly worked his brother to the bone -- 144 hours/week according to Bruce Kelly ... who says he never got a dime, so now he's blowing the whistle on the singer with the State of Illinois. Bruce says his younger bro hired him in March as a personal assistant and driver, and they had a verbal agreement -- for $700 a week, Bruce would do food runs and chauffeur R. Kelly. But the brotherly love faded after Bruce started working overtime without seeing any green.
According to docs filed with the state labor board, Bruce says he sometimes had to wait up to 12 hours in the car for R. Kelly … and never got any sleep.
He tells us he even spoke to R. Kelly about the $11k in back pay he claims he was owed ... but baby bro didn't care. Bruce says he put his foot down after 3 months because he's "not working for nobody, not even his brother, for free."
The labor board is still investigating his claim. We reached out to R. Kelly's reps, but no one's gotten back to us.
Fun Fact: This isn't the first brother R. Kelly has thrown under the bus. Back in 2008 R Kelly claimed it was his brother Carey, not him, in a video having sex with an underage girl

Back in 2011, illustrator Erica Glasier created an artwork for a Forbes article titled ‘The Bank of Facebook: Currency, Identity, Reputation’.
For reasons that no-one can understand, that image now makes up one in every 120 images on Imgur, the internet’s leading photo repository.
Sources say the phenomenon seems to have been first spotted by a Reddit user back in February, and more recently analyzed in detail by TheGamble.
According to reports, he analyzed a million random Imgur URLs, and recorded what was found at each one. Monopoly Man, as Glasier’s image is now being called, showed up 3,568 times.
That’s 0.833% of all Imgur images, meaning that it’s probably been uploaded around 3.2 million times — an insanely high number for anything that’s not the work of some secret Illuminati botnet.

I’ll fulfill my promise to create jobs, says Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday said he would do all within his power to fulfill the promise he made to Nigerians that jobs would be created as part of efforts to revive the economy.
A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, quoted the President as speaking while granting audience to foreign investors who are the proprietors of Olam Farms Nigeria Limited, inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Buhari was reported to have said that his administration would move as fast as it can to resuscitate the textile and mining industries and also improve production in agricultural sector.
He said as part of its plans to reduce unemployment in the country, his administration would give full attention to the rapid revival of ailing and moribund textiles, mining and agro-based industries.
He said the creation of more jobs for Nigeria’s unemployed youth was the key objective of his administration’s economic agenda  and will be pursued with the greatest possible dedication.
“I still recall with clarity that at some point, the textile industry in Nigeria was employing about 320,000 Nigerians. But today, the same industry employs less than 30,000 people and the factories operate below capacity or they are completely closed.

“I have made a promise to Nigerians that jobs will be created as part of efforts to revive the economy and that promise will be fulfilled. We will move as fast as we can to resuscitate the textile and mining industries, and also improve production in our agricultural sector.
“Now that we are trying to create jobs, we cannot allow industries and factories to close down. Instead, we should be making every effort to ensure that we re-open the closed ones and attract new ones to reduce unemployment,” the President was reported to have told the delegation.
The President assured the delegation, which was led by Mr. Mukul Mathur, that his administration will encourage investments in agriculture and other sectors of the economy by creating a more favourable environment and enabling laws.
He said he had already ordered some immediate interventions to address current challenges faced by industrialists in the country after receiving briefings from the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industries, Trade and Investment.
“We will move very quickly to see what we can do to help you and other investors in the country so that you can help us to create jobs for our people,” the President told Mathur and his team.
Mathur told the President that Olam Group of Companies was established in Nigeria in 1989, and currently employs about half a million Nigerians, directly and indirectly.
He added, however, that the group was facing difficulties with the reversal of some government policies in 2010 and 2013, which could lead to the closure of some of its industries in the country.

British Woman Wakes Up With Chinese Accent After Suffering From Stroke

PAY-Sarah-Colwill
A British woman who suffered a stroke, woke up with a Chinese accent and has now being told the side effect is permanent…

Sarah Colwill’s case has been identified as one of only 20 known cases of Foreign Accent Syndrome worldwide – And medical staff say they have exhausted all options and, despite Sarah never visiting China, she has to accept that her Far East voice is here to stay.
According to experts, the condition is caused by a ‘drawing out’ or ‘clipping’ of the vowels that mimics an accent even though the patient has limited exposure to that country – It was first identified during the Second World War when a Norwegian woman was hit by shrapnel during an air raid, she suffered brain damage and developed a strong German accent, which led to her being ostracised by her community in 1941.
And according to a devastated Sarah, from Plymouth, Devon:
“My neurologist has signed me off and said I will permanently be this way.
“They’ve tried various treatments; they’ve tried everything, but nothing makes a difference.
“When I think about how much my life has changed, it is devastating. Being told I would be like this forever was a heart breaking thing to hear. It was a real bombshell.
“I try not to dwell on how bad things are and how much I have lost. I think how lucky I am to be able to still do what I do and try and find a positive in every day.
“I am still the same person inside. Of course, people who did not know me before have met a totally different person – but I am still Sarah from Plymouth.
“It took me a while to come to terms with it – but it is what it is.
“I just have to get on with it. I don’t think my accent causes too many difficulties now.
“Sometimes people cannot understand me, which is frustrating. But when my speech is really bad, I just don’t speak.
“I cannot make my voice sound any different. It is what it is and I cannot change it.
“I had never been to China before and had a strong Plymouth accent.”
The night that changed her life came after ten years of suffering from severe head pain, which caused stroke-like symptoms, then woke up after a series of attacks sounding like she was from China.

Nigerians Will Beg PDP to Return in 2019 – Chieftain

PDP
The National Vice Chairman (South-South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Cairo Ojougboh, has stated that Nigerians will beg the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to return in 2019… This according to him is because the All Progressives Congress (APC) has proved that it cannot rule the country, as seen in their first one month in office.

This was made known by Ojougboh on Monday at the South-South secretariat of the PDP in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, said that with the internal crisis in the APC, the party had shown that it lacked coordination and ideology to pilot the ship of this entity called Nigeria.
Also added that a committee of the PDP headed by Senator Ahmed Makarfi was at the PDP South-South secretariat to receive memorandum on how the party can rebound ahead of 2019 general elections.
The PDP chieftain also said that the PDP will not succumb to any form of intimidation in various election tribunals in the South-South.
“Rivers and Akwa Ibom states tribunals are sitting in Abuja. No amount of intimidation will make the PDP lose the elections it won freely and fairly in those states. Any move to rig us out at the tribunals will be resisted.”
You think so???
