Man Slit House Maid’s Throat Because She Refused to Have Sex With Him

First of all, I don’t think this is ordinary – How can a man slit a woman’s throat just because she didn’t allow him have sex with her??? Well, it has been reported that a 20-year old house maid, Chioma Onyegili, was on Wednesday hacked to death by a 31-year-old son of her madam, Okechukwu for allegedly refusing to have sex with him in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The suspect, who now has plenty of time to cool off in police custody, committed the despecable act at about 9.30 pm Wednesday at 56 Zik Avenue, Fegge, Onitsha.
According to the SUN, residents of the area said the deceased girl was living with the 70-year-old mother of the accused, who always demanded that the girl sleep with him, which she always resisted. He thereafter slashed the girl on her neck with a machete.
Superintendent of Police, Mr. Rabui Garba, who is the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Fegge Police Station, confirmed the incident, adding that when the information reached his office, he immediately dispatched a team of detectives, who subsequently arrested the suspect – He said that the suspect would be transferred to State Investigation Department (CID) for further investigation, while the deceased’s corpse had been deposited in an undisclosed hospital mortuary in Onitsha.
The suspect, who confessed to the crime, said that he had killed some other persons in the past in a like manner. He claimed that he did not know what pushed him to kill the girl… hmmm!

According to those present during the meeting, when some persons reminded the First Lady that the former president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan had openly declared support for Dickson, she told them that Jonathan won’t support Dickson when the chips are down.

Michael Jackson doctor shares hand-rolled 'cigarette' with MJ's son

 

One of late Michael Jackson's doctors had a famous guest on his yacht on Tuesday - Michael's son, Prince Jackson and according to TMZ who got exclusive photos, they shared a hand-rolled 'cigarette'. More photos after the cut..

Police arraign the lecturer who raped the 18 year old Unilag admission seeker

The police on Thursday arraigned a part-time lecturer, Afeez Baruwa, for allegedly raping an 18-year-old admission seeker. An accusation Baruwa said was false, he said the act was consensual.

 

The 42-year-old lecturer was arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos on Thursday.

The 18 year old victim and her father were in the court premises with agony written on their faces.

The lecturer’s wife and other relatives were also observed in the court.

Baruwa was arraigned by the police on one count of rape.

The charge read,

“That you, Baruwa Afeez, of Block 73, Flat 2, Abesan Estate, Ipaja, Lagos, on July 23, 2015, at about 09.25 hours, at the Faculty of Business Administration Annex building, Room 8, University of Lagos, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did unlawfully rape one (name withheld), aged 18 years, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 258 of the Criminal Law of Justice, Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.”

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Magistrate, Mrs. O. Awope, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum.

Awope ordered that Baruwa should be remanded at the Kirikiri prison until his bail terms were perfected.

The matter was adjourned till September 9, 2015 for trial.

I won’t die alone- kidnap suspect

A kidnap suspect, Linus Nlemadim, shocked his captors yesterday when he expressed readiness to reveal the names of his gang members.
Nlemadim was allegedly arrested in connection with the recent kidnap of one Eziopara Ben Anyanwu, an American-based indigene of Imo State.


It was gathered from a source that the suspect vowed that he would not die alone.

“The suspect said he was ready to mention the names of members of the gang that were involved ing the crime, and that there was no way he would die alone,”

“True to his threat, the suspect released the name of another colleague of his. This led to the arrest of his accomplice from Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.

“I believe they will be telling the police all they know about the alleged crime.”

A community leader said that the 2 suspects, who linked Linus Nlemadim to the deal, were natives of Upe and Umunam in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area. The source said one of the kidnappers was caught when he went to Umuovum, Ulakwo to sell an i-Pad they had stolen.

“The man, who indicated interest in buying the gadget unlocked the equipment, saw the images of the kidnapped Ben Anyanwu and quickly brought the police into the picture,” the source said.
