Headmaster and Chemistry Teacher Caught Having Sex After School Hours

sexxx
A married headmaster and a female teacher were allegedly recorded by a pupil having sex behind the closed door of his office, a disciplinary hearing …

Headmaster Graham Daniels, 51, and chemistry teacher Bethan Thomas, 37, were allegedly overheard making love from outside closed door by a pupil, who then put the camera phone’s ‘sex tape’ online.
A disciplinary hearing was launched into the “moans and panting” from behind the closed door of Mr Daniel’s office and could be struck off the teaching register if found guilty of “unacceptable professional conduct” at the Cardiff disciplinary hearing of the Education Workforce Committee.
However, both Mr Daniels and Miss Thomas resigned from 750-pupil Bryntawe Comprehensive School in Swansea, South Wales, after the tape emerged.
The pupil had been waiting outside of the office to be collected by her parents after an after-school French lesson and Ms Thomas approached her to ask the girl what she was still doing in school before knocking Mr Daniels’ door.
The hearing was told he called Miss Thomas inside – and soon after the girl claims she heard “the noises of people having sex.” and the girl said she became embarrassed and left the building to wait for her parents outside.”

The Only Thing Ambode Has Done in 100 Days is Rubbish Fashola – PDP

Akinwunmi-Ambode
The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s performance in the last 100 days had made no impact on the people of Lagos but had only succeeded in fighting his predecessor, Babatunde Fashola…

While speaking to Punch, the Publicity Secretary of the Lagos PDP, Mr. Taofik Gani, said Ambode revoked several of Fashola’s policies and contracts – He said Ambode should rather launch a sincere and thorough probe of the Fashola administration instead destroying Fashola’s image in the media.
He said:
“Ambode’s performance has been dismal. I will score him 20 per cent and the 20 per cent is the achievement of the civil servants who have continued to work. The 20 per cent is not because of Ambode’s personal input.
“He has failed to appoint commissioners despite the fact that his predecessor is a fellow APC member like himself. His government should have hit the ground running.
“I advise him to first and foremost apologise to Lagosians for misleading them during the elections. Obviously, he was not prepared for governance.
“Ambode’s only achievement is fighting Fashola and he has not even done that properly. The people of Lagos want a complete probe of Fashola’s administration after which Ambode would forward a petition to the relevant anti-corruption agencies.
“After doing that, Ambode should face governance. What he is doing now is diversionary and it is inimical to the development of the state.”
You agree???

Nigerian Governors Kick Against Death Penalty For Looters

nigeria-flag
A lot of governors in Nigeria, out rightly rejected the suggestion that looters of the nation’s resources be sentenced to death as suggested by the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress-at the beginning of the week…

Labour said it was only by killing looters that the anti-corruption crusade being championed by President Muhammadu Buhari could succeed but most governors, who reacted to the labour suggestion on Thursday, said the death sentence would be too harsh.
According to Punch, Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun said he would rather canvass that looters be sentenced to life imprisonment, rather than the death sentence prescribed by the organised labour. Amosun, made this known while addressing the state workers who had marched to the Oke Mosan state secretariat in Abeokuta to give their backing to Buhari’s anti-corruption crusade.
He said:
“Everybody knows President Muhammadu Buhari is transparent and meants well for the nation and would never want to hear anything about corruption.
“Even under 100 days in office, electricity is improving. People know that if you try it you are gone. I always say this, whether you are a governor, permanent secretary or labour leader, you cannot be corrupt under a leader that is not corrupt, because you will be punished.
“Unfortunately as a governor, I cannot be saying that capital punishment should be meted out to corrupt public officials. Because I cannot say that, that is why I will say that anybody that is found wanting, whether you are governor or any other public officer should be jailed for life.”
He however said that not only politicians should shun corruption but every Nigerian.
“It is not only politicians that should shun corruption, workers too should not be corrupt.”
Plateau State, Simon Lalong, also concurred with Amosun saying he would rather prefer life imprisonment to death penalty.
Governors of Ekiti and Rivers states, Ayodele Fayose and Nyesom Wike respectively, out rightly rejected death penalty for looters. Fayose, through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Idowu Adelusi, had this to say:
“In countries where death penalty was introduced, it has not stopped looting. In advanced countries like US, jail sentence is the penalty. What we need is proper moral education to change orientation of the people. Jail sentence is better; it can reform,” he told one of our correspondents in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Wike, who spoke through his special adviser on media, Opunabo Inko-Tariah, had this to say:
“Nigerians have a role to play by deriding looters and not to praise them for their fiscal irresponsibility. There should be a strong punitive measure to discourage looting because of its domino effects. When a treasury is looted, there won’t be money for the provision of necessities such as hospitals, roads, etc.
“Maybe because it happened in Ghana and the economy improved, the labour organisations want it in Nigeria. But that was a military regime and Jerry Rawlings was a military man. However, the extant laws on looting need serious and urgent review, even if the death penalty is discouraged.”
Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State said he was comfortable with whatever the people want in relation to punishment for looters. Speaking through his information commissioner, Kayode Akinmade, said if it was the wish of the people of the country that looters should be killed by law, “so be it’’ but that the process of law must be followed in carrying out such executions.
He said:
“We are not under a military rule; this is democracy and we have constitution that we follow. If it is put in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, irrespective of whether you are a governor or not, so be it. If that is what Nigerians want, it is okay.
“Everybody is against corruption, but there is a process of making law. Thank God we have a National Assembly and the state assemblies who are representative of the people. If such bill could be sent to the national and state assemblies and be passed into law, it must become a law.
“If the process is followed and it is the wish of Nigerians that looters be killed, why not? Let it become a law. It is a fact that Nigerians are not happy with this corruption tag, which has slowed down our economic development but if we have a law that will bring about capital punishment for the looters, it is okay.”
Whereas, the Governor of Nasarawa State, Umaru Al-Makura, supported that capital punishment be meted out to corrupt public office holders.
“I really agree with the NLC over call for capital punishment for any public office holder who is found guilty of looting public funds.”
What do you say???

Senators Use Lamps And Torches to Probe Power Sector After Power Failure at NASS

Yesterday, The senate was deliberating and probing the power sector when a power outage occured. The anger of the senators was evident as most of them were seen hurling curses at PHCN and accusing the executives of power distribution companies present of intentional sabotage.

Power was cut at least twice within a period of six minutes between 2.20pm and 2.26pm. At the third outage at about 3.12 pm, the chairman of the committee conducting the probe, Abubakar Kyari could no longer hide his frustration.

“Are you tired? Are you guys calling your people to do this?” he asked the executives of the power companies present at the probe.

Things were to get even worst. Moments after he spoke two power outages followed at 3.26pm and 3.31 pm.

At this point, the probe panel resorted to receiving presentations using lights from media cameras, torches and rechargeable lamps.

Meanwhile,  the Director-General of the Bureau for Public Enterprises, Mr. Benjamin Dikki, told the senate committee did not know how much it cost to privatise the country’s power plant and should be given time to present the exact amount.

He said he needed to find out the cost of building the power plants.

Dikki was responding to a question from a committee member who asked him to  “tell Nigerians how much the power plants were sold because during Tuesday’s hearing, the committee was told $USD 8.23bn was what was spent on these plants prior to the privatisation.’’

“I do not know how much the (power) plants were constructed. I will make available the documents later,” the BPE DG answered.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Power, Godknows Igali, had denied speculations that the Federal Government was planning a wholesale privatisation of the Transmission Company of Nigeria.

He said, “I want to correct an impression, government has no plan to privatise TCN; what we are doing is to work out an arrangement so that the market will pay for services.”

All Boko Haram camps have completely been wiped out- Defence HQ

This is some cheering news from the Defence Headquarters. At its maiden media chat which held in Abuja yesterday September 9th, The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Colonel Rabe Abubakar said the military is winning the war against Boko Haram as all the camps of the terror group have been destroyed.

He said:
“These terrorists have been subdued, even if they are adopting other means and as they are re-strategizing, we are also doing the same. We have been coordinating on the air and ground assault to make sure that these terrorists' hideouts are completely decimated.
As I am speaking to you all the terrorists camps have completely been wiped out.
So right now they are completely in disarray, having no command and control of where to plan. We have even taken over the their camps and most of them have abandoned their bases and blended within towns and communities.
We are making a lot of headways and a lot of achievements and people should know that Boko Haram is no longer strong enough to hold ground.

He added that:
"Very soon this issue of whether they are in control of any territory in Nigeria or not will come to the open. We must begin to think of the nation. I am assuring you that they will never again recapture the territory taken from them, because what is happening right now with the deployment of troops, equipment and morale will ensure that."

Photos: Fire kills family of seven in Lagos apartment after neigbours refused to help

On Wednesday in Obele Lawanson Community, Surulere, Lagos,  a family of seven died in a fire disaster. The victims, who lived on 23, Michael Ogun Street, died because their co-tenants did not make effort to rescue them when they called out for help around 11.30pm on Tuesday.

Those killed were a textile material dealer, 28-year-old Kelechi Onoja; his wife, 18-year-old Nkiru; their one year and eight months old first child, Favour; their three weeks unnamed second baby boy; two yet-to-be-identified family members; and Nkiru’s 80-year-old mother.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the only survivor was six-year-old Chidinma, a relative, who sustained burns injuries to her face and hands.
Our correspondent gathered that Nkiru had just given birth to her baby and her mother had visited for theOmugo rites, a popular Igbo culture of a mother nursing her daughter’s baby.
She was said to be preparing to return on Wednesday with the two unnamed ladies she brought with her, when tragedy struck.
The landlord of the house was late, while his immediate son lived in the Ijesha area.
The landlord’s grandson, Abdul Jelili, who lives opposite the apartment, said,
“I was sleeping when I heard a noise and quickly rushed out. I saw smoke coming out of their apartment and quickly got a stick, with which I broke their toilet window.
“Smoke billowed out, but I did not hear any movement in the house and could not tell if anybody was in. All the tenants in the other apartments did not come out, so I had to rush out to call for help.”
Another resident, Ejike Okpara, explained that the neighbours did not help because there was animosity among the five tenants in the house. He said Nkiru had been accused of not greeting the other tenants, among other issues, which had caused series of fight in the neighbourhood.
He said,
“So, when the fire began, the neighbours from both sides did not come out. When they finally came out, it was to rescue their families.”
But a tenant, Uzor Alajemba, said he had to first rescue his family when he heard someone raise the alarm.
PUNCH Metro learnt that youths and other members of the community eventually mobilised to the scene to combat the inferno.
A man, who claimed to be part of the rescue, Chima Dimkpa, explained that the burglar-proof bars made rescue difficult. It was learnt that the grandma had used a candle light to bathe the baby in the night, and forgot to put it off.

Our correspondent was told that after burning out, the fire ignited the table and engulfed the room. The 80-year-old woman was burnt to death.
Kelechi, who had also woken up with other members of the family, reportedly called for help.
He was said to have held tightly to the two sisters, while his wife carried their boy in her hand. They were burnt to death together.Dimkpa said,
“We could have rescued them but for the bars. Everything was smoking hot and untouchable, including the wall.”
A landlord on Ade Close, whose house shared a fence with the apartment, told PUNCH Metro the fire could have escalated, but for the support of his tenants.
The man said he mobilised his tenants to fight the flames from the roof.
A security guard, Desmond Mazeli, explained that officials of the Federal Fire Service arrived at the scene around 2am on Wednesday, adding that the lone survivor was taken out through the window.
Mazeli said no one knew the victim was in the toilet, until she coughed and was quickly rescued by the firefighters.
He said,
“I used a neighbour’s car to convey her to a private hospital in our area, while somebody called the Lagos State Emergency Ambulance Service.
“At about 3am, the ambulance arrived, together with policemen from the Area C command. She was taken to the Gbagada General Hospital.”
Kelechi
Our correspondent observed as some friends and family members of the deceased, who got the news on Wednesday, broke down in tears.

Nkiru’s brother, Michael Awuzie, said they had arranged to see the family on Sunday for the child’s christening.
Awuzie wondered why it was only their apartment that was affected, adding that the police needed to investigate.
He said,
“Mama went to the market yesterday in preparation to leave for the village today (Wednesday) with the foodstuffs for the Omugo.
“It was to announce to the villagers that her daughter had given birth and she had brought the foodstuffs as a proof of the good news. And now, they have all died.”
The traditional leader of the Surulere area, Kareem Awoyemi, said he could not believe that the neighbours deserted the victims when they called for help.
Awoyemi said,
“I still don’t understand it. Are people not living in this house?”
Our correspondent learnt that the deceased’s charred remains had been handed over to the police, who had deposited them in a morgue.
