Mum shares photo of her dead husband in a coffin to warn of drug dangers

Mother of two Eva Holland has been praised and criticized for doing something most women won't do - she stood smiling with her two children next to the open coffin of her dead husband. Responding to criticism, Eva said she hopes the shocking image will warn others of the dangers of drug addiction. The woman said her husband died of heroin overdose at just 26 years old.

"I'm sure this photo makes a lot of people uncomfortable it may even p*** a few people off but the main reason I took it was to show the reality of addiction. If you don't choose recovery every single day this will be your only way out."
Her husband Mike Settles, who was just 26 years old, died on September 2 after a recent relapse in Cincinnati, Ohio after just completing rehab.
"This was preventable it didn't have to happen but one wrong choice destroyed his family. I know a lot of people may be upset. I'm putting it out in the open. Hiding the facts is only going to keep this epidemic going. The cold hard truth is heroin kills. You may think it will never happen to you but guess what that's what Mike thought too."
"We were together 11 years. I was there before it all started. I knew what he wanted out of this life, all his hopes and dreams. He never would've imagined his life would turn out this way. He was once so happy and full of life. He was a great son, brother, friend but most importantly, he was a great dad. He loved those kids more than anything.
"But as we all know sometimes life gets tough and we make some wrong choices. His addiction started off with pain pills then inevitably heroin. He loved us all so much he decided enough was enough and went to rehab at the end of last year."

Eva later added on Facebook:
"I had a talk with Mike's parents today about my post. They said it doesn't bother them they just want me to clarify that although we know he struggled with addiction that they have not gotten a coroner's report back yet with the official cause of death."

3 Essentials your kids need as they go back to school

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe –Abraham Lincoln.
Schools have resumed and while some kids will come home crying because of the new challenges they are facing, kids like Kenneth here are too happy to be back to school. Do you knowwhat makes the difference? Read this to learn about 3 secret tools that you can give your child an overwhelming advantage as they resume school this new session…

You know  that feeling of confidence you have when you are sure you are about to destroy a challenge because you are sooo over prepared for it. Your child can also have it too IF YOU CHOOSE to equip them properly for the new academic session.

Textbooks, notebooks and pens are necessary tools for school but the weapons we are about to reveal to you are a much held secret, the few who know these secrets rarely use itto the maximum potential but if you get your child to make a habit of using these secrets, you would just sit back and watch them excel beyond your expectations. So here goes
Weapon 1 - Whiteboard at home:
This is almost a surprising one but very effective, whether your kids have a teacher at home or not, you should keep a whiteboard at home. Why?
Research on the learning pyramid shows that students will REMEMBER90% of what they learn WHEN THEY TEACH SOMEONE ELSE. 90% !So you should let your child teach you what they learnt at school or teach a younger sibling or just practice it on the board!

Weapon 2 – Get a voice recorder :
If your child can record the teachers’ explanations, they can listen to it over and over till it becomes an unforgettable part of them. It is an easy and highly effective tactic because they can always refer to what the teacher said.

Tool 3 – GET A PREPCLASS HOME TUTOR.
Of all the learning techniques ever studied, 1 on 1 coaching has proven to be by far the most effective technique ever. But the quality of the classes and how much your child learns is only as good as the quality of the tutor, so wouldn’t you rather leave the tough job of getting a seasoned, trained and professional tutor in Lagosto the NO 1academic professionals in Nigeria
Here is WHY you should get a Prepclass tutor:

Serena Williams loses semi final game & Drake gets the blame for it

Serena Williams lost the semi final to unseeded Roberta Vinci who ended up winning the match in three sets. The match was very intense and it had Serena yelling after each shot she won.

Then Roberta at one point threw her hands up when she won and basically was taunting the crowd because everyone was cheering only for Serena.

Drake's song "Hold On, We're Going Home." Kept playing while Serena played.
Drake looked happy and was laughing and smiling when the song came on.
Serena's loss, however, is going to take a lot more to get over, as she was on her way to becoming only the sixth player in history to win all four grand slams in a year.
Not surprisingly, it didn't take long for the Drake backlash to begin.

Chris Brown wins! Gets 50/50 custody of his daughter, Royalty

Chris Brown was in court today with his baby mama Nia Guzman and he won! TMZ reports below...
Chris Brown just scored an enormous victory in his child custody war with his baby mama ... he got joint custody of Royalty, and he gets to take Royalty home today. Brown and Nia Guzman squared off in a Houston court Friday morning. She not only wanted to deny Chris any custodial rights, she also only wanted to give him supervised visitation.
The judge disagreed and we've learned Chris and Nia will share 50/50 physical custody, with Royalty going back and fourth every 4 days. Both Chris and Nia now live in L.A.
And Chris, who was in court represented by Mark Geragos, scored another victory. The judge ordered him to pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support, which is exactly what he's been paying her. She wanted $15k.
The judge also ordered Nia not to talk crap on Chris and not reveal anything about the case on social media.
