Helen Paul Clears Air On Alleged Frosty Relationship With Ali Baba

Popular comedienne and OAP Helen Paul has taken to social media to set the records straight on her alleged frosty relationship with A-list comedian Ali Baba.

Recall that Ali Baba posted about 'backstabbers' on his Instagram handle, and since then speculation has been rife as to whom he was referring to in his post, with the many fingers pointing to Helen Paul.

She shared this on her Instagram page

#I have watched with mixed feelings, ranging from bewilderment at first, to amazement, and now utter amusement, as some mischief makers have tried to create a non-existent frosty relationship between me and my father and mentor in the industry, Ali Baba. It all started with my jabs at a show - something we all as comedians throw at each other every now and then. All done for laughs - nothing personal. Ali Baba is someone I respect a lot and it will be foolhardy for anyone to think that I was 'insulting' him at that event. I am like a daughter to him and I am sure if he has any issues with me, he would, as an elder and a father, talk to me personally about it. The account and scenario described in his post allegedly referring to me did not even happen to or involve me. It amuses me how people easily read between imaginary lines so that they, like Don King, can promote battles, lol.

Woman Stabs To Death Pastor Who Tried To Rape Her During Deliverance

A pastor from Cross River State, identified as Pastor Oliver Akpan has been stabbed by a woman who claims he tried to rape her during a deliverance session.

According to the Pulse who reported the incident, Pastor Akpan, married with six children, had long been suspected to sleep with his church members, both married and single but he met his match in the woman identified as Ekamma, who is also married with two children.

As the story goes, Ekamma had gone to the pastor to seek his help over some spiritual attack she was facing and Pastor Akpan had recommended a three day dry fasting for the woman to be carried out in the church and on the final day, there would be a spiritual bath to ward off the evil spirit.

After going through the fast, the pastor led the hungry woman to a stream to have the spiritual bath but he had other ideas in mind as he was said to have told the woman that part of the bath included having sex with her but when she refused, she attempted to forcefully have carnal knowledge of the woman.

As the woman tried to free herself, she allegedly picked up a sharp stick and stabbed him in the stomach, before she ran to the village to alert other residents.

By the time they got to the spot, the wounded pastor had lost consciousness as he bled profusely. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors confirmed he died before he was brought in.

The woman was initially arrested by the police but was released on bail while investigations are still on going.
