Pastor preaches from inside Coffin in South Africa ........

A pastor in South Africa has abandoned the pulpit for a coffin, literally. According to church member and former drug dealer, 28 year old Aphiwe Nqevu 'brought the coffin to illustrate to people who fail to embrace Jesus as the son of God that they will go to hell and face eternal death.

They said they use coffin to 'urge people to embrace God because once death occurs, it is too late to decide'. People in the area protested, saying it was scaring children and it was disrespectful.

Senator Ita-Giwa adopted the little girl about a year ago when she saw her along with her 17 year-old mother in one of the creeks of Bakassi. Speaking about the little girl to Encomium magazine, Senator Ita Giwa said ...


"I adopted Beatrice Bassey Ita-Giwa, named after my mother, about a year ago. I saw her and her mother when we went to campaign in one of the creeks of Bakassi, and I fell in love with. them. Beatrice is now in a play group, and she travels with me. At the end of the year, she will be in a play group in Victoria Island in a Lebanese/French school. I’ve engaged a nanny, and Beatrice is doing well. She is trying to speak English, Filipino and Efik. I’ve fallen in love again. I look at the innocent girl and she’s blossoming, thriving.”she said

Shocking photos from a festival in Phuket

These shocking photos were taken during the annual vegetarian festival in Phucket, held at the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. Slitting open their cheeks and forcing everything from guns, to electrical wire, to giant knives and even axes through the holes, were part of the ritual.

Most of the festival-goers, devotees of the Chinese Samkong shrine and the Chinese Ban Tha Rue shrine, choose to force weaponry through their cheeks, but others seem to have opted for anything they can find around their homes. See the shocking photos after the cut...

Ghana agrees to pay N33.8bn Gas debt owed Nigeria by Feb. 2016

The President of Ghana, John Mahama today reached an agreement with the government of Nigeria represented by NNPC GMD Ibe Kachiukwu, to pay off the N33.8 billion owed Nigeria from the gas supply provided by a Nigerian gas company, N-Gas, the main supplier of gas to Ghana’s Volta River Authority through the West African Gas Pipeline.

The N-Gas buys gas from NNPC and transports it to its customers in Benin, Togo and Ghana. The N-Gas had recently threatened to cut gas supply by 70% to Ghana’s main power generation company due to unpaid debts of $181m (33.8bn).

Why the senate reduced the number of ministerial nominees for screening today - Dino Melaye

According to the Chairman of the senate Adhoc committee on media and publicity, Dino Melaye, the Senate decided to reduce to names of ministerial nominees for screening today to three so as to make the screening exercise more thorough
"The reason why we reduced the number of nominees is because we responded to the agitations and yearnings and the aspirations of Nigerians. We have monitored the reactions of Nigerians on the issue of the ministerial screening and we found out that Nigerians believed that weare rushing the process and it was not as thorough as they would desire. We have agreed that we reduce to three or four per day so that the interaction and screening exercise will be more thorough and Nigerians will appreciate who is going to be their minister" he said

Kanu Nwankwo's son, Sean takes after him as a footballer, scores 4 goals in school match

Kanu Nwankwo's first son, Sean (the tallest in the group) has followed his father's footsteps as a footballer. Sean is an under 11 for Watford and also plays for his school, St John’s Prep and Senior School football team. He recently helped his team win the under-11 English Schools Football Association Enfield Borough Football Tournament. His team won the competition with 7 goals, four of which was scored by Sean.
