An Abuja-based woman who was barren for 27 years has delivered a baby boy after reportedly being pregnant for 5 years in Lagos State.

PMNews reports that the woman, Adenike Kolawole delivered on Sunday at Evangelical Church of Cherubim and Seraphim located at Pipeline Road, Mafon area, Ejigbo, Lagos during church service.

Kolawole who is married to Kayode said her problem started after she had a miscarriage. She said she has been looking for the fruit of womb since then. She had sought both medical and spiritual help
before she noticed that she was pregnant. But at the same time she was observing her normal mensural circles.

She said she waited endlessly to deliver but all that expectations was to no avail. This prompted her to relocate to Lagos. She said the search for spiritual solution brought her to the church where she eventually delivered the baby. According to her,  those years were traumatic because her husband was under intensive pressure to send her away.

“I was rejected by my relations, my husband’s family who did not give me the chance of bearing a child. My only consolation was my faith in God,” she narrated.

On how it happened, she explained that she was at the church service when she noticed that water was coming from her private part and she went to a room to check what was happening before she knew it, the baby came out alive. She said she raised an alarm which attracted church members who assisted her to deliver the baby. The news of the deliverance attracted residents who trooped to the church in droves to see the woman and the new born baby.

When PMNews reporter visited the church on Tuesday, residents were still visiting the church to congratulate the woman and her husband, Kayode who expressed shock on what happened.

Kayode said he did not believe his wife over the years when she claimed to be pregnant because he had waited in vain. He said he was grateful to God for what he had done and thanked the well wishers for their support.

The prophet of the church, Yinka Olawale said when the woman came from Abuja, he noticed that she was pregnant and at the same time was having her monthly menstrual cycle. He said he embarked on prayers and also used anointing oil and holy water with faith. He said the first sign they observed was that the cycle stopped and she delivered on Sunday. He thanked God for what happened and said it has strengthened his faith in God.

Britain’s FATTEST Woman Finally Dies of a Heart Attack

The British woman, Brenda Flanagan-Davies, who could heed doctors warning to ‘lose weight or die’ when she became bed-bound at her home in Gateshead, after consuming more than 6,000 calories a day, has died of a heart attack.

Mr Davies, 68, found his 44year old wife, foaming at the mouth and in pain and quickly called an ambulance, but she died on her way to hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Oyo PDP in Disagreement With Patience Jonathan – See Why

Dame Patience Jonathan, may not be the most favourite person in the hearts of Oyo PDP members, for requesting that a former governor of the state, Rashidi Ladoja, who is not a member of the PDP, should be “accommodated” in the PDP.

This request was made during a meeting, attended by Adebayo Alao-Akala; the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Jumoke Akinjide; a former Senate Leader, Sen. Teslim Folarin, and Chief Yekini Adeojo and some other Oyo state PDP leaders at the Presidential Villa in Abuja nine days ago.
According to a source who spoke with Punch, those who attended the meeting were stunned when the President’s wife suggested that Ladoja should be supported to realise his ambition, but they did not only kick against her proposal , they also rejected her suggestion to share party offices in the state with Ladjola.

“The President’s wife asked that we should accommodate someone who is not a member of the party. How do we do this?
“She was tactically telling us to support his governorship ambition because she was saying she knew that Ladoja has the capacity to win election and defeat the All Progressives Congress in the state.
“But we disagreed and told her so. That was what happened, but she promised to convey another meeting soon where the issue would be further discussed.
“But I can tell you that we are not pleased with her activities in our party. We don’t understand where she derives the power to interfere in running of the PDP. In fact, most of us may not attend any other meeting summoned by her because she is not our leader.
She should keep off because if we field a wrong person, we may not defeat the APC in our state during the governorship election.”

But Alao-Akala in a phone interview with Punch said,

“Yes, it is true that the First Lady met us. But she didn’t ask me to step down. She said we should accommodate Ladoja in our party and we said it would be difficult to do so because he is not a member of the PDP. That was what happened.”

The little boy, was fed under his locked door and lived in a small room full of soiled nappies, and the only reason police even learned of the appalling conditions the boy, from Adelaide, was because his mother called them when her partner was assaulting her, the prosecution told the court.
Na wa o!!! So that’s how the little boy would have died because his mother preferred her man’s love to caring for her son?
