Seriously? a simple tattoo can get you closer to God? Well meet Rob Popejoy the very “less than conventional” vicar, who says how he looks, helps him relate to his parishioners on a one-to-one level.


The 30-year-old has even agreed to do part-time modelling for photography and art pupils, and according to him;

“I try to do things differently, As I am representing religion and faith, I think we need to challenge the old traditional ways to keep religion fresh and approachable to all.
“You can still be religious, be who you want to be, and be up for a good laugh.
“There is a common misconception that church leaders tend to have a certain holier than thou look to them, but I am just me.”

Rob, who says his modes of transport are motorbike or skateboard, and his hobbies are snowboarding, football and hip-hop music(hmm!).
