Sad, how a seemingly good day can turn into a disastrous one in an instant, as a man accidentally ran over and killed his pregnant fiancee outside their baby shower just three weeks before the baby would have been born.
Daniel Dutfield, 24, was really upset with the low turnout of people at the event, when he stormed out of the barbecue, running over his pregnant wife-to-be, who died the next day.
The fiancee had gone out to see what was happening, when Dutfield lost control around a corner and drove right into her.
Anyways, ignorance can not be used as an excuse in the court of law, as Dutfield has been jailed for for four and a half years and banned from driving for seven years.
Too bad – Poor guy looses fiance, baby and also gets jailed, triple jeopardy right?
