I Lack Experience in Stealing – Dele Momodu

I used to wonder how our politicians, just get a position in government and no matter how new they are in office, the looting begins almost immediately – Who taught them?, is there an official stealing manual handed down from predecessors to successors, or is it just in their blood????? Well, Veteran journalist and Publisher of Ovation Magazine, also a former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu has explained why he did not win the 2011 presidential election, even after his serious minded campaign.

According to Mr Momodu, in a recent chat;

“One of the things I love about Pastor Tunde Bakare is that he did not restrict himself to activism. I was glad in 2011, when he was Gen. Muhammadu Buhari’s running mate. I, on the other hand, wanted to be President.
“I was serious about my ambition, but Nigerians were not serious about it. Some said I lacked experience. Yes, I lack experience in stealing”
