German Plane Which Crashed Yesterday Was Grounded 24hrs Before Fatal Crash

Unfortunately, 150 people who lost their lives yesterday, when Germanwings Flight 4U 9525 ploughed into an Alpine mountainside at more than 400mph.

The Airbus A320 crashed in a remote region of the French Alps en route from Spain to Germany and among the dead were 16 German schoolchildren, six crew and opera singer Maria Radner, who was travelling with her baby, one of two on board, Marina Bandres Lopez-Belio, a 37-year-old Spanish woman living in Manchester who was travelling with seven-month-old son, Julian. Mother and son Carol and Greig Friday (bottom left) from Victoria, in Australia, were also confirmed dead.
It was revealed that the aircraft had been grounded just 24 hours before it took off from Barcelona airport.
So sad… May their souls RIP
