T.I Says He Didn’t Steal Marvin Gaye’s Song

421 copy
Marvin Gaye’s family recently won $7.4 million from Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams, for copying Marvin Gaye’s song to produce ‘blurred lines’ – a 2013 hit song. The Gaye family is now turning the hit on T.I, who rapped in the song but T.I is saying the Gayes can go to court for all he cares, he is no musical thief …

According to TMZ:
We just spoke to Tip at LAX and asked him about the Gaye family siccing its lawyers on him now — after winning the $7.4 million from Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams. Of course, T.I. laid down the rap on “Blurred Lines” … but in this clip he doesn’t seem the least bit concerned about a lawsuit.
As he puts it … he’s got love for Marvin Gaye, but “anyone with common sense” can tell his part of ‘Blurred’ is 100% original.
T.I.’s bottom line? See ya in court, Gaye family
It looks like its about to get down!!!
