Elton John Praises Pope Francis Over Homosexual Views

Elton John, American singer(who we all know is gay and legally married another man, in what has been rated as one of the most expensive celebrity weddings), is very pleased with Pope Francis, because of the Pope’s recent plea to the Catholic church, to open up to the idea of homosexuality.

According to the singer said:

‘Ten years ago one of the biggest obstacles in the fight against AIDS was the Catholic Church. Today we have a pope that speaks out about it,’

Pope Francis, who insisted that homosexual acts are sinful, last year signalled a more tolerant era of Vatican thinking after he spoke out in defence of homosexuals during a two-week meeting sought by Francis to create a more merciful interpretation of Catholic dogma – Although Catholic Bishops kicked against it.
And for that, Elton John says:

‘He is a compassionate, loving man who wants everybody to be included in the love of God,’
‘It is formidable what he is trying to do against many, many people in the church that opposes. He is courageous and he is fearless, and that’s what we need in the world today.’

Hmm! The Pope is sure gaining the love of gay people, don’t you think???
