The Police in
Bauchi State, on Monday, disclosed that they arrested a 20-year-old man
in Ningi, the headquarters of Ningi Local Government Area of the state
for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a 16-month-old baby.
According to the
Nigerian tribune,the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP
Haruna Mohammed sent out a statement which read ....
“On Sunday, October 19, at about 6.00 a.m., police detectives attached to Ningi Area Command arrested one, Annas Adamu, male and 20-year-old of Stadium road, Ningi Local Government Area.The suspect had unlawful carnal knowledge of his neighbour’s daughter, a 16-month-old baby, inside his matrimonial bedroom,” the PPRO said in the statement.
He added that the scene of the crime was visited by the detectives, who
rushed the victim to the General Hospital, Ningi, for medical
examination, where penetration was confirmed.He, however, said that the
police were investigating the matter.. what an evil world!
